This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.

I recently visited Cafe 538 and had a truly fantastic experience. The bacon and sausage breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious - I couldn't get enough! The salsa that came with it was a perfect complement to the savory flavors of the burrito. It's worth noting that the burrito is on the smaller side, but the quality and taste more than make up for its size.The real star of the show, though, was the mango guava madness smoothie. It was so good that I found myself wishing I could have another one! It was the perfect balance of fruity sweetness and refreshment - the ideal drink for a hot day or to start your morning on a high note.Overall, I highly recommend Cafe 538 for anyone looking for a breakfast spot that delivers quality over quantity. Wanted to grab breakfast while my brother was having a procedure but didn't expect the burrito would be this small. With a small coffee it was $13, it was good but I rather have a regular size burrito.

Cafe 538 has the best breakfast burritos, but Leo’s salsa puts them over the top! Since Leo took over the business, his menu choices have grown! Great lunch options now and he caters large orders! We love his breakfast burritos with salsa the most! Thank you Leo!!!

I am not a local and read good/bad reviewsbut decided to check it out due to low prices breakfast burritos $5.75 or ham cheese sandwich too I ordered the 2 egg potatoes, w beacon/ sausage w muffin ? for $7 50 see pic and loved it I'll return here for the cleaness and lovely patio outdoor to enjoy your food
