From juicy burgers and flavorful salads to mouthwatering seafood and steak, there's no shortage of options to choose from. And with live music and entertainment on select nights, Campus JAX is the perfect place to enjoy a fun night out with friends or family.

Such a great local venue for great live music. I go there often. BUT, they recently changed the menu (deleted their beloved Cubano sandwich), and their kitchen is just overworked. Your order comes out an hour later. Servers are overworked… it’s not their fault. And last night, a new bartender poured ZERO vodka into my girl’s three vodka and cranberry drinks, but had the nerve to up-charge us $1 per drink, for less ice and more juice. When she forgot to add the vodka? Sympathies to the owner. Not his fault his people are embarrassing him. BUT, beware! Wait-staff and bad bartenders do not deserve to be tipped, until they act professionally and show some respect towards their customers, before they cost the owners thousands in lost business, cause despite the good bands, the terrible service is what this place will be known for.

Great food, love entertainment. The service was great, didn't have to wait for the food too long. Wife and I have been chasing the killer shrimp to its final location. Great location for a date night.

*****Wow!*****Shame on me for not finding CJs (Campus Jax) sooner! The ambiance reminds me of the old Jazz clubs but newer, updated and clean. Another difference is the food. Don't expect dishes you would find on cooking shows but they have a decent menu with food that is good. They also have happy hour prices. If you know where SNA (John Wayne Airport) is, this is a minute down the road. Easy parking and a relaxed vibe makes me a fan. What makes this place "as good as it gets" is the people running the place. Everyone here is a class act in my book. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Seating here is intimate and cozy but not too cozy where you don't have breathing room. I was super comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. The other customers are friendly. The live bands and music...wow. Thank God for social media because if all those addicted to the screen realized listening to real music in person is this good, I would never find a seat here. Leave your 'tude at the door, pull up a chair, sit back and then relax.... this is THE spot.My new favorite place.

Even though I didn't rate it high, I'm sure I'll come back. The things I liked:Big parking lot (yea!)Server was greatSound is very good for the type of music we saw (mostly acoustic)Tables were arranged so that you aren't hitting the people at the next table with your chairFood was ok for a place that is known for music more than the foodThings I didn't like:There was an awful sewer leak smell that hit us as soon as we got inside. You could smell it everywhere. I hope they get that fixed sooner than later.Drinks were expensive $12-15Performers didn't seem respectful of other performers when they weren't on stage. There was a lot of loud talking from the booths and it was distracting to those of us who came to hear the singers. I get that you are there to hang with your friends after your set, but you can lower your voice.

We always enjoy our Charlie Brown Christmas special at Campus Jax. It's become a tradition. The venue is one of Orange County's hidden gems. The staff are always friendly and very hardworking. The food is delicious and comforting. We particularly love the Jack shrimp rice but you can't go wrong with anything. They bring in some great musicians so if you're looking for live music and good food give it a try!!

I want to say one thing is that the ambiance is nice I went as a guest of my partner since he wanted to go support his professor. The music was nice with the entertainment. Now for the bad. The food that I had Shrimp n' Grits and it was not good. Like I don't exactly know what shrimp and grits is originally supposed to be made but what i ate did not taste that good. Like the food felt confusing each one of the food item tasted like it was cooked separately, and all they did was boil shrimp and tossed it in the sauce. I only ate as much as I could but my stomach wasn't able to handle it so i just said i was finished. As the server came by she asked if i wanted a Togo box i said no im done and she took it away. Once the night was over my partner covered the dinner i paid him back for the portion I ordered. *note i paid for the food i did not finish*. I went to go stop by the restroom and when i came out and was about to meet up with my partner so we can leave. when all of a sudden the server came to me and asked on how was the service I told her it was fine. She then said " oh it was fine, so if it was fine why didn't you leave a tip". First off I was really shocked by this. I wasn't even the one who paid for dinner. And I didn't like her attitude she had toured me. Like im sorry my partner didn't want to but that's his choice. Don't go after me for something that I could not do. Over all disappointing for a place that is talked so highly. The server is had was a Caucasian girl with a dirty blond short hair.

09.13.23 totally totally loved my experience here. It happened to be my first time. The featured band was the Rabbi Blue Quartet. Rabbi Blue was incredible and so was the rest of his musicians. I checked YouTube videos afterwards and it's best to see the show to truly appreciate their performance. It so happened that it was the sax player's birthday so there were additional impromptu live performances from a few in the audience. What a night! It was so much fun because they were all great singers / musicians - Rabbi Blue is scheduled to be there again on Oct 11th so check it out if you see this post before then. Good line up of musicians, too.The food we had was absolutely delicious. This is one of the best parts about making or enjoying time here.Customer service rocks! There's good free parking in the back.Campus Jax - great place to go to for food and music!
