Great hidden spot to stop by for lunch. You definitely have to be okay with the more relaxed, dive bar scene, but they provide great service and delicious meals.
I've been going to the chicken co-op for over 30 years I absolutely love it there, Horacio is the best and I love Chewy also. They have an amazing menu and you can get just about anything that you're craving.

I had the fish and chips. The fish was falling apart like it was a deep fried frozen filet. There weren't many fries. My wife said there wasn't enough white meat in her chicken dinner.
Be aware of two important things. The lunch menu and the dinner menu prices are significantly different. I believe they switch at 3:00.
Also, even though this is 2024, they are cash only!! If they have that posted somewhere, we didn't see the sign. They have an ATM with a $1.50 fee, but c'mon!
Not great. Won't go back. Too many other restaurants to choose from.

The food is great! Our party had Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, Ribs, baked potato with rice and Hamburger!
Ahhh and about the service if you are not a regular don't take to offense the waiter, that's just the way he is!! He's like the annoying brother I didn't have, but he's a cool guy once you get to know him! In a weird way! ? Don't tell him I said that! He's just gonna throw napkins at me again! Toma!

Friends treated me to a meal recently. The Chicken Fried Steak was delicious & the Salad was so fresh. I enjoyed every bite!
