Last time I come to this place. Because my kids brought food from Chipotle they asked them to leave even dough we were ordering food from Chihuahua. Pretty rude! There previous manager was nicer than the current one

Just got kicked out because our 2 kids came in with food from Chipotle. We were all gonna eat outside they were just waiting for us to order. I understand no outside food policy but for little kids. We come here every weekend and we wont be coming back. They always eat at chihuahuas, they just happened to want chipotle today, wich is right next door. Disappointed that they would choose to loose a customer over this. And no they were not bz at all. Only 1 family eating outside, 2 inside.

This is the go to spot if you're visiting Newport Beach!! Awesome place to eat at or simply go have a beer 🍺. The staff was really friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back.

I had 1 asada taco and 1 al pastor taco plate while my wife had 2 birria taco plate. Both came with Mexican rice and black beans and were $17 each. The flavor of the asada and Al Pastor were both somewhat bland and the Birria (shredded beef) was too sweet and tasted more like pot roast. The black beans were unexpected as we thought they came with redried beans. There was a hair in one of my wife's taco, but we didn't complain because she wasn't going to eat it anyway. If you like a fun atmosphere with non-authentic Mexican flavor then this place is for you.

Chihuahua Cerveza is a total hidden gem in Costa Mesa. The vibe is laid-back, the service is great, and the food absolutely delivers. Their quesadilla is hands down the best around — perfectly grilled, cheesy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it’s the kind of dish you think about long after you leave.

The drinks are crisp and refreshing, and it’s a perfect spot to hang with friends, grab a beer, and enjoy good food in a fun atmosphere. Every visit feels easy and enjoyable.

If you are anywhere near Costa Mesa, do yourself a favor and get the quesadilla at Chihuahua Cerveza. It is unbeatable.

Chihuahua Cerveza in Newport is such a fun spot! The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends. The beer is crisp and refreshing, and they have some great flavors that are easy to enjoy. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere makes you want to stay a while. Definitely a great place to grab a drink by the beach!

All the staff here are the nicest people in the world. I got a flat tire and then pulled into their parking lot. Half the staff came out to help and then they put on my spare for me cause my car jack was broken so they used their own car jack from their car. The GM, Christian, was so kind and gave us free food and drinks while we waited and also let us hang out at the brewery while I called a tow truck. All staff checked up on me very often to make sure my family and I were ok. Coming back here for sure.

Had a great experience here. My man and I were looking for a spot to eat in the area and we just passed by this, caught our eyes and we are so happy we tried it!
Friendly staff. The food got ready in good time, and it was really good, especially the quesadillas were amazing! It was hard not to get more!
We tried nachos and burrito. They offered nice variety of self service salsa sauces too

Really enjoyed this place and would make it more often if i lived around here. I had the street corn and chicken quesadilla and Chihuahua lager...Perfect!

Food is OK! But portions are big and everything tastes fresh. Salsas were really good but the chips could break your teeth lol. Loved the outdoor dog friendly seating. Servers were really great. Got the Pina Loca and it was alright. Nice vibey spot for dinner by Newport beach.
