Stopped at this ice creamery while on vacation. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There ere a lot of ice cream flavors. The place looked neat and clean. Very happy with our ice cream.

Cowafornia Ice Cream is a must-visit in Newport Beach! The flavors are rich and creative, and the quality is top-tier. The shop is cute, clean, and has a fun beachy vibe. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great spot for a sweet treat! We will definitely be back!

Horrible customer service. Woman had a nasty attitude the minute I walked in. Didn’t greet me didn’t attend to me until I had to call her over. Never experienced this before.

I love this place! I have been a few times over the years and it has only gotten better each time. The staff have always been helpful discussing the flavors, with the latest trip having great customer service from Kenna (I think that's her name). She is always happy to help me and has a welcoming personality. She alone impressed me enough to write a review! Genuinely hope to see her again on the next visit as she made a simple thing like getting ice cream a memorable and pleasant experience!

$5 for a kids scoop so kind of expensive. Very very sweet ice cream. Great service though! We came really close to closing and they were very nice to us.

Cowafornia Ice Cream is a fantastic spot located at the Fun Zone! The ice cream is delicious and the shop is clean with super friendly staff. Our favorite is the Cookie Monster. 🍪 It’s a great place for families, and we’ll definitely be back!

Cowafornia Ice Cream is everything you want on a sunny Balboa Island day. The flavors are rich, creamy, and super fresh—definitely not your average scoop shop. I tried the Strawberry cheesecake and cookies and cream and it was out of this world! Portions are generous. The staff was super sweet and friendly. Perfect stop after a stroll around the island. A local gem I’ll keep coming back to!

Such a cute ice cream & coffee shop. I ended up going in there 3 times. I originally went in for a Carmel macchiato for a pick me up. Super delicious. 2nd time my husband wanted a vanilla latte and of course my 3rd time, my kids wanted ice cream. I love that she asks you if whole milk is okay for the coffee and when I order the extreme brownie ice cream, she double checked to see if I had any walnut allergies. Those small touches makes a difference. If you go to Balboa Island, hit this place up. It's a must.

Large ice creams and a wide variety of flavors.

I cream was good. Would give 5 stars if the kids at the counter would pay a little closer attention to orders. But it’s on completely understandable with the tiktok generation.

Last night we were in line behind 3 other couples. It was 8:50. An employee came out, and instead of saying " take a couple steps inside so we can shut the doors because we are closing" he said " We can't serve you because we close at 9" then turned to the couple in front of us and told them " but we have time for you". He turned us away and shut the doors. This has never happened to me in my lifetime. Absolutely awful customer service. There was no one behind us.
