Donuts, cookies, ice cream oh my! We visit Balboa a few times a year and it is tradition that we get Balboa Bars and donuts every single time we’re here. They never disappoint! No matter the line, long or short… they move so quickly and efficiently. And yes… we favor Dad’s because of the service and they are THEE SUPERIOR BALBOA BAR!
10/10 don’t leave Balboa without having a frozen banana. Not only did this specific shop have frozen bananas they also had ice cream and delicious donuts!!! Everything we had was so good. I would definitely come back again.
First time here. Ordered plain cake and sugar raised. Neither particularly good or bad, just average. I got there first thing in the morning 6:30am, thinking will get first batch, however they had 4 of this, 5 of that thinking, these can’t be fresh since they just opened so possibly day old donuts. They looked and tasted like it. Asked if fresh, and of course was told, “yes, we made them last night.” LOL! Oh man, that’s the perfect answer from a couple who probably don’t...
