Highly DO NOT Recommend. Nothing special at all. Food is the same as Norms. Prices are 3 times higher than Norms. Lipstick lined coffee mug. Had to BEG for refill on coffee. Waited 10 minutes to pay bill. Will NOT be back for this OVERHYPED breakfast that costed me $25 for 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, French toast and a coffee. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL

I wouldn’t say the taste was great, but the atmosphere is nice, so give it a try—it might be your taste.

If you like eating in a café that overlooks a boat harbor, serving top-notch food and offering service so friendly and attentive that you lose track of time, then Galley Café is your best bet.

Interesting small old-fashioned 'mum & pop' diner.
Food good but expensive.
Would not go back.

We’ve been in Newport for a week and this is by far my he best breakfast we’ve had! The atmosphere is friendly, the food is fantastic and the price was reasonable. Go here first, it won’t disappoint!!

Hospitality from staff was great.
Felt the local community present in this area.
Food presentation beautiful.
Food could be a little dry and bland depending on where you’re from (the south), but I believe it’s made that way to cater towards the more elderly population here.

Love this place as far as originality. And great service. Not to mention the atmospheric area of the marina. Unfortunately, the food (breakfast) was mediocre at best. Hash browns was like a large potato chip and greasy and the bacon was super thin like the Oscar myer kind at the super market. Perhaps I’ll try their French toast or pancakes with sausage patties next time?

Truly a hidden gem. We used to go there 30 + years ago and good to know that it hasn't changed at all! Hearty breakfast.
Great little breakfast place overlooking the harbor.
At times there's a big line.
