This was a friends' outing on a weeknight. With the exception of one mocktail which was not to my friend's tastes (no fault of the kitchen at all!), everyone loved the food. I was the only vegetarian at the table, so that is the highest praise I can give. We ordered appetizers, mocktails, and mains. Presentation was excellent, ambiance was so good some young women unaffiliated with our group were doing a little Insta photoshoot in the corner. Mezcal, in addition to tequila, on the menu. The jackfruit dishes were a good balance of flavour and texture. The prices were reasonable— neither cheap nor expensive in comparison to other restaurants with similar cuisine and ambiance. Staff was very professional: polite, ready with recommendations, and accommodating. All in all, this was one of my most enjoyable, satisying dining experiences in this area in recent months. I will definitely be returning.
Love the place. The ambiance is super nice and I like the fact that it's semi-outside. The food here is delicious. If you're worried about vegan food, don't be. Just come and try stuff. The tacos are fantastic, the crunch wrap is amazing, all of the desserts are fantastic and the roasted colofour, as I think they spell it, is just outstanding. They have some really good and unique mixed drinks so definitely check out that part of the menu too.
The food was flavorless. The queso fundido and the breakfast burrito are not what they used to be and those were my go to items. It was very disappointing. The service from the bus boys was good but from our own server it was not. We only got checked on once and then we waited too long to pay. We had to go and find someone to help us close out the bill. I've never minded driving an hour for this place and I can sadly say I won't be back.
Sweet little cafe with a wide selection of healthy, vegan meals. I really enjoyed their house-made mung bean egg.
We ordered five items: 1. Coliflor starter which was the best 2. Enchiladas - the corn tortilla was so hard, it could not be cut with a knife very poor 3. Chile broth was lukewarm/cold very poor experience 4. Some of the pasta was undercooked/tough: lacked salt 5. Cheesecake was good The overall experience was very poor considering the $ amount paid. I will not be returning to this place. I came to this place with my wife and my mother based on a strong recommendation from my colleague. I do not know if this was a one off experience, but above is the summary of my poor experience at gracias Madre. I will not be returning to this place.
Really loved the ambiance! very pretty restaurant. The quac and vegan quesso was super tasty. Loved the crunch wrap, never had it be vegan before and I loved it. Highly recommend this place for a big group and wanted really tasty vegan food.
We made a reservation on Open Table, still had to wait almost 20 minutes as hostess was taking a to go order. Finally we were seated. The Elote was really good. My Verde Pozole was average. I was expecting more since every time we eat here it's amazing. My girlfriend enjoyed the”Madre bowl”. I tried it and the tofu was cold. We'll be back. Maybe ut was just an off night.
Service was exceptional... Food was pretty good for vegetarian I'm a carnivore so you know I had to like bend my rules a little bit, but it was amazing. I think I'm gonna turn vegetarian now.
Food was amazing as usual ! Mocktails were delicious! Our server was so sweet and helpful. The server who delivered food was super nice also. Will be back for Mother's Day. Wish we lived closer I'd be there all the time. Much gratitude!!!
This was my first time here. I was impressed with the food and drinks. Everything had great flavor. The carne asada tacos tasted like carne asada. The crispy tofu bowl was a filled with complimentary flavors. Drinks were well crafted.

I ordered the Madre Bowl for the first time and was very disappointed. The sweet potatoes and tofu were cold. The music is quite loud, so having a conversation can be challenging. I also had guac and chocolate cafe. Both were yummy:)
This was my second time eating here. Food was okay, not fantastic, but not bad. I definitely did not think the menu prices were commensurate with the quality and taste of the food. Service was slow, and while not unfriendly, it was not particularly attentive. There are a lot of other vegan dining options in this area and i don't think I will return for a third visit.
I love Gracias Madre. It's different than the location in West Hollywood but has a different kind of magic. I think we had the best chocolate soufflé type dessert I've ever had
Met Daniel the GM this evening and he was pleasant . Shared a little about why we enjoyed the location and it was taco Tuesday so had a great time with my wife. Everything was fresh and tasting so delicious. We have made Gracias Madre a part of our outings when we can make the time for date nights
We went for a family dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Food was amazing, and every dish had it's own delicious flavor! The service was fantastic! The waiter paid particular attention to the children in iur party. He has added the extra bit of personalized attention that makes for a truly memorable evening. We will definitely be back!!
