Since this turned into Campus Jax, we will be frequenting this new location much more frequently. Well done, Jack!! Come for the shrimp, stay for the live music. Great service and the menu is refreshingly healthy and contemporary. You'll be happy to eat here.

It was short but very sweet. Bartenders & food were great! Atmosphere welcoming & comfortable with great local bands thanks to OCML! Went back to Hogues night before it changed hands. Everything was still as great as usual BUT THE FOOD WAS INEDIBLE! Whoever hired the new "cook" needs to try his "gumbo?" Figured he couldn't screw up a pattymelt, but obviously I was wrong! We were gonna share it but took one bite & left it! Even the fries were disgusting..I mean what kind of "cook" can't even make fries?? Fire him & get someone else who can actually cook in there. Bring back good music or you're goin down

It was a great place that held our memorial for Steven Raid Stinson, Chris Burke & Claire Nicole. The people that ran the music to the doorman to the bartenders, everyone treated us as family. Thank You. Steven's Auntie Linda❤️

I like this place because of the happy hours and the good local people watching. Service is ok.

Horrible service, weird décor, annoying feedback on the speaker system, and a very limited, unimaginative menu. There's no table service and not enough bartenders, so I spent 10 minutes flagging down a server just to place my boring order. After we placed an order for 2 salads and French fries (and were charged an extra $4.50 per salad for avocado), we waited LITERALLY 40 minutes to get our food. And then we had to fight to get it. Rather than bringing your food to you, they place the finished orders on the top of the bar. It's up to you to visit the bar periodically to see if your order is ready. After getting up from our table for the 8th time, we could see our order sitting on a table in the kitchen growing cold. We had to argue with a busser to get him to hand it to us. I really wanted to like this place but was not impressed. I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because the bathrooms were clean and because they have a nice selection of beers on tap. However, I will never be back again to drink them.

I'm not sure what we expected. Came to see a friend's band and that part was great. For a bar the stage, lighting and sound were pretty good. The room was typical sport's bar utilitarian with lots of neon. Clean and cool were a plus. The menu was limited to say the least. Fried zucchini, chicken wings, burgers for the most part. Only about 12 selections. The service was good-aweful. The waitress brought the menu and a beer quickly, but then disappeared. It took forever to bring the food, which came out piecemeal. We were told the fryer was "slow tonight". She recommended the salad not the fry with the burger. Not good for a bar with Costco frozen fried food as the highlights. Just to dull the pain, we asked for coffee about 30 minutes into the painful opening band which reminded us of "Smelly Cat" from friends combined with Will Ferrel from SNL. She looked at us as if we asked for Dom. "I can make some she offered? Great! Forty five minutes later I grabbed her and she said she hadn't gotten to it. The check took forever to get but wasn't too gouge-y. If your son, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend get their garage band on the schedule, go. Otherwise skip it.

Every time we come here Amber and Carrie take such good care of us! We come for the great food and the drink selection, but the best part is the live music on Friday nights! We always have fun and the staff is always super accommodating!

They're doing comedy on Wednesday nights now, with some really talented comics! Finally, something to get us through hump day!

The Wednesday night comedy was HILARIOUS! Great comics, and the host is funny as hell! (he's that guy, from that thing..) Great comedy for free! We WILL be back!

I have to agree with other reviewers. Amber is such a great bartender. Any night she is there is bound to be a great time. She's extremely generous with her shots and a super cool person to talk to. Food is actually really good here for your typical bar fare. Chicken fingers & fries and the hot wings are delicious. The locals make it fun too. This isn't a "hip" spot if you are looking for a packed venue or a younger crowd in general, but it's great to bring large group or just friends for decent prices and a relaxed atmosphere.

Food was pretty good actually. The service was God awful. Yes it was on a Sunday that they typically are not open for, and for this event the server was over whelmed. But to have that translate into a terrible table manors, to the point where I was made to feel uncomfortable and offended is completely uncalled for, and reflects poorly on the Bar as a whole.
