A suggestion. Jalapeño sliced extra thin adds a nice bit of heat. Jalapeño sliced a quarter inch thick makes a burger inedible.

If you like eggs, the Mother Nature burger is the best burger that I have had in forever!!! And the Parmesan truffle fries are yummy!

Stopped by here for drinks. Got their famous truffle fries. But according to my bf, it's not comparable to how Tustin location makes it. The drinks were good. Nothing out of the ordinary. I think I wanna try their Tustin location. Staff were lovely.

I had dinner here recently after a movie at Regal Edwards across the street. A friend recommended Hopdoddy, and it didn't disappoint. We saved a table on the patio for our party and then went to order at the counter. All the burgers and menu items sounded tasty. I ordered the Thunderbird, a chicken patty burger cooked perfectly with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. The flavors were delicious and satisfying. I also ordered a side of Hand-cut fries, which were good, but after trying my friend's sweet potato fries, I felt a little regret for not ordering one myself. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries if you can't decide. The beer menu has rotating selections from local breweries, craft cocktails, and standard fountain drinks with free refills to satisfy your thirst. I opted for a fountain drink this time, but I'll have to try a brew next time. The staff was excellent throughout our dining experience, from ordering to preparing our food quickly and changing out the propane tank for the fire pit at our table on the patio. There are chill vibes at this spot in Fashion Island, with people shopping and walking around; it's still perfect for relaxing with good company, a drink, and delicious food. Indoor, bar, and patio seating is available. Plenty of parking as well.

1. I came on Sunday morning. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries. I enjoyed them and thought the sauce that came with it was very tasty. 2. I ordered the kale Cesar SALAD with chicken but I got what I'm assuming is a chicken patty? I didn't order a burger bowl so I was confused I expected it to be grilled chicken or like chicken tenders. I enjoyed the salad but the chicken patty was dry and something about ground meat on the salad didn't feel right lol. 3. The service here was unfortunately lacking. Once I ordered at the front and got my food not a single person came to check on me. This was my first time here so I had questions. After chasing someone down I was able to get a to go box. The front of the house needs more support. The two woman who were at the front were doing a great job. Male staff could use additional training on professionalism, mannerism, and hospitality. 4. I suggest bringing cash to tip instead of tipping at the front. I wish I had personally tipped the girl who was hustling.

Why Hopdoddy deserves 4 stars: - Awesome gluten free bun! $2 extra. house made, fresh, buttery, & fluffy but nicely toasted & slightly crispy on the edges. It's more like a biscuit than a bun, which is kind of perfect for people like me who love breakfast sandwiches :) & I love that it has millet which makes it a bit seedy. Good texture! - Grass fed regenerative beef or bison for additional $2 - delicious house made sauces like basil pesto & truffle aioli (you can actually taste the truffle), yum! - you can get fried parmesan truffle Brussel sprouts if you want fries but are trying to be healthier. although pricey at $10... buy you can also opt for a sweet potato fries side at $5. - affordable price for good quality. - kind customer service, which always makes the experience so much better. The main reason for 1 star off is that a side of avocado $2 but very small, like 2 slices. The only other thing i could wish for is a keto bun option that is just as good, but then it would be too perfect! :)

Really nice service. Unique burgers along with the classic. Pick a seat and order up front when you're ready. Food came out fast and hot. Delicious, 5 stars :)

Decent food. Truly awful service. Long line so we ordered from our phone. Not allowed to sit in the restaurant since we placed our order online. Tons of empty tables too. Spent $100 for a pay first meal and can't sit in the restaurant. Manager said it's not fair that we ordered online! Imagine that "it's not fair that you guys paid us way too much money for cheap food so we won't allow you to sit in our restaurant." What difference does it make if we pay first at the counter vs online? F off. Last time we ever come back here.

I've had some excellent burgers at Hopdoddy recently and this places makes my Top-10 burgers in OC as long as you know what to get. So let me help you: get a classic burger, with grilled onion jam and cheese. That's it. No lettuce or other nonsense. Bacon can be added but that's it. Pink in the center. Get regular fries, no nonsense Parmesan fries or sweet potatoes fries (the latter of which are actually quite good for sweet potato fries). Solid stuff here.

Fries are dry. Milkshakes are watery. You get served from metal mixing bowls. Overpriced and then flip the screen for a tips at 18/20/22 to make it worse.

The scam continues. They want you all to think the business owner cares with her reply but in fact it is all for show. I wrote to the email Jennifer gave and what a surprise no reply at all and mind you I wrote to her twice so there you have it! Never again in this location and never again will I spend my hard earned dollars at this scam operation and mind you I will be telling everyone I know in the area not to patronize this location.

Loved the fries. If you are looking for a good thin fry served hot and fresh give this place a try. We stopped in for just a quick snack and we weren’t disappointed. I will say my only reasoning for a 4 star is because it is a counter order and seat yourself kind of place. So more quick fast food vibe, but slow line to order. Also we had to request silverware to eat our chicken tenders with, none came with it and none to be grabbed ourselves by drink fountain. Otherwise we really enjoyed the food here and will stop back by for a full meal at another time!

Oh Hopdoddy, how could you dismay us so :0?? I have been to this Hopdoddy location several times before today and the flavors are normally downright delicious. Whelp, for a hamburger whose price tag is pennies shy of $20- with all sides costing above and beyond that $20- hamburger, I would expect the hamburger to be dipped in gold with deliciousness! And they usually were. But today was a catastrophe!! We were celebrating my daughter-in-love's birthday and per her request, we ordered Hopdoddy burgers to go. Now mind you, there is no option to specify on the online ordering situation your preferred burger patty well-done-ness; the only choice the menu gives you is a rather hilarious option called "No Pink" :P!! So, as not one of our 6-person party wanted rare or any kind of "Pink" burgers, I checked the NO PINK option on every...single...one of our burgers. However... upon arriving home and sitting down for our anticipatedly-delicious birthday Hopdoddy dinner, much to our dismay EVERY...SINGLE...ONE of our burgers was, no... not PINK, but DARK RED RAW meat and practically quivering within the buns :0!! Not just one of the burgers was raw; every single person's order for NO PINK MEAT was not only ignored but almost like the employees thought they would pull a prank on us, knowing that we would already be home by the time we discovered our raw, quivering, inedible meat which was supposed to be a delight for the birthday girl :'(!! AND to think we paid an extra $2.50-/burger to have the grass-fed beef, not imagining that by "grass-fed beef" that would mean the cow itself might be so fresh off the pasture that it was half-alive :(!! So if you can imagine the horror, we had to each MICROWAVE our meals to cook the hamburgers to any kind of non-raw status, which not only nukes out any nutrition there might have once been, but makes the bun and toppings inside soggy and gross. Completely ruined. The only reason this review isn't a One-Star is for potential; the flavors on the burgers have the potential for deliciousness if the burgers aren't raw! And the truffle Parmesan fries are beyond delicious...no risk of ruining those! For a hamburger disaster of only 5 hamburgers (my husband and I shared) which was well over $100- , you would expect at the very least an operation that takes note of the actual specifics ordered and not slap a slab of dark red jello-y meat on your plate. My advice? CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave, lest you be microwave-ing your sad raw burger on your birthday :(.
