Absolutely loved our visit! First time taking my dad and he was very impressed with the level of service he received.Our server was very attentive and checked in on us! Suggested meals were so delicious!We got a Molcajete, Sea bass, and a few appetizers highly recommend!Views were so beautiful we sat in the patio overlooking the ocean and sunset made the meal that much more enjoyable!
I have been going to Javier's for many years. Always great food, service, and atmosphere. Last visit I had the 3 enchiladas (shrimp, crab, and lobster) which was amazing. Looking forward to the next visit.

We had a great experience at Javier’s for our New Year’s weekend dinner. We made a reservation for 10, and I would highly recommend making reservations, as it looked to be near capacity for dinner time.I also highly recommend the La Tablita dish, which comes with your choice of carne asada, pollo, or carnitas. With the meat, you get a big serving of guacamole, salsa, beans, rice, and tortillas. Plenty for 2-3 people to share. Service was great, quick, and accommodating to our special requests. A very nice interior and atmosphere being along the coast in Newport. We had doubts, as some say it is overrated or overpriced. Total for food and drink was about $850 for a group of 10 (some of us shared plates). Overall, it’s a great spot, and would recommend the Newport location specifically to anyone.
