Tuesday night, party of 9 and the restaurant was mostly empty. Service was slow and food was not hot. Flavor of the food and drinks were good but we won't be rushing back any time soon. The view is the best thing about this restaurant.

Joined a couple of friends here to try their happy hour. I had the Mexican pizza, which was okay. The food here seems tasty, but nothing spectacular, and tends more towards americanized Mexican food, rather than anything authentic.
One huge plus is that this restaurant is right on the water, and the entire restaurant makes good use of that fact. There are huge floor to ceiling windows, (and shades), and I need to point out and thank whoever is in charge of window cleaning here - not a spot on any of the windows, and perfectly clear glass, leading to an unobstructed gorgeous view.
The drinks and the bartender were wonderful and creative. You can get a margarita made with any tequila and flavors you like. Parking is free before 4pm.

I've been to this place a couple times, great views and service has been fast and friendly. The guac and drinks were good but not wow'd by their food Not bad by any means but very mid. Was charged valet to have my car parked in the near empty lot, where tonight self parking would not be an issue and seems silly to wait for valet to drive up your car when it'd take 15 seconds to walk to from the front door.
Food was good and that was way too loud and you couldn't hear people at your own booth. Even speak I put that it was someone's birthday they did nothing so that was a bummer too. But overall I would come back and have been back multiple times to this restaurant.
Not a Great choice if you are vegetarian, staff and services is outstanding.

No hostess as he was also cleaning tables. They were not busy and it was 2:30pm. I sat at the bar and bartender finally took my order after 20 minutes. They had plenty of staff so not sure why bartender was serving drinks to each table and disappearing for 10 minutes at a time. Even the couple next to me leaned over and commented that the service sucked when they saw how long I sat there. I had to ask for a napkin and hostess guy had to find a roll of napkin and utensils. Two different guys kept coming in to bar area to mix drinks and serve them. Chips with guacamole were different as the chips had a funny seasoning on them. I wish I had known. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were good. A guy in a white polo delivered the food to each table. Finally got asked for a second drink and was able to ask for a glass of ice water. The bar was left dirty and not cleaned off of dishes or wiped I will not come back. Not impressed.

Soup and side salad. And Peach Mint Lemonade. The lemonade was magnificent. (Which is obvious because it's gone. ?♀️)It was well balanced and not too sweet. (Honestly, I would have had another except I was driving!) The soup was spectacular. Lots of flavor. And the salad was aight. It had tiny pieces of fresh avocado and corn which made me happy. Everything was very fresh. Also, the chips are tasty! Serving size was perfect for lunchtime.
Parking: Valet parking at night. Free during the day.

You can’t beat the view at GuacAmigos!! A exquisite gem in Newport Beach with a gorgeous waterfront view of the Newport Beach Marina!! We came with a big group and we were excited to try a lot of their dishes.
Amazing Mexican food & drinks! You can’t go wrong with the Citrus Grilled Chicken and Veggie Enchilada with Primavera White Rice or the Citrus Grilled Chicken Dinner, which has a double Chicken Breast with Primavera White Rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked!! Both dishes were packed with flavor. The Taco Salad was hearty and pretty tasty!
Some of my favorite new menu items were the Crispy Shrimp Taquitos and Street Corn Ribs. I love that the Mexican Pizza is thin crust.
I was looking forward to trying the Lobster Taco Trio and it didn’t disappoint! The Birria Tacos, Burrito and Tortas were packed with flavor! Another favorite was the Camarones Rancheros!! I couldn’t stop eating it!!
Some of the cocktails we tried were the Blueberry Ube Margarita, Spiked Carajillo, Watermelon Margarita Energizer, Pomegranate Bourbon Sour and Black and Blanco.
The perfect end of our meal was the melt-in-your-mouth Churro Butter Cake topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, fresh berries and cinnamon sugar. This is crazy good!!
Loved EVERY bite and EVERY sip!!
