NOT SO GOOD ! My wife and I checked out this coffee shop about 12 months ago...soon after we moved to Irvine. We were looking for somewhere to get great coffees and a wholesome lunch during our Sunday bike rides. All we saw were a few croissants in a display case....the girl behind the counter explained they don't make sandwiches other than avocado toast. SO WE GAVE IT A MISS ! There were other cafes very nearby that provided decent coffees and fresh made wholesome lunch food. On Sunday we decided to at least to give this place a try. It had good online ratings and when we turned up around 1pm it looked reasonably busy. NO CROISSANTS ! The cashier said they sell out in the morning. OK ! My wife checked out the menu on a clipboard....avocado toast was her choice. The menu was completely breakfast slanted and we had enjoyed a substantial breakfast at home hours before. I don't do avocado toast but my wife was happy to order a basic version not on the menu...just avocado on toast. We also ordered 2 x 12 oz Lattes with 2% milk. I had checked out their syrups beside the espresso machine and could tell they make their own.....no thanks. I nabbed the last 2 seats inside....2 low slung stools facing the outdoor patio. My wife paid and was given table no 33. We had to collect our lattes but someone would bring out my wife's avocado toast. After a few short minutes my wife's name was called out and I walked straight over to the espresso counter to collect them....the latte art looked lovely ! After placing them on the low countertop in front of our seats we sugared them and tried them straight away. VERY SAD ! Both were barely luke warm and tasted very milky. The female cashier had reassured my wife there would be 2 espresso shots in each latte so they must be using a very light roast. My wife's avocado toast came out....just toast with avocado slapped on as requested by my wife who thought it was fine. TERRIBLE LATTES ! One always likes to loiter over a nice hot latte and drink it slowly. In this case if we waited 30 seconds more we would be drinking cold coffees. WE WON'T BE BACK !

This is one of my favorite places for casual coffee or meeting with clients. The drinks and food are great, ambiance is wonderful, and there are plenty of spots inside with chargers if you need to work on your computer. And there is a yoga studio nearby if you want to do your morning workout, then grab some coffee!Parking in front can be tough to find during peak hours but there is a lot next to the bank with plenty of spots.Highly recommend this location.Parking: Parking in front of Kit can be tough to find during peak hours but there is a lot next to the bank with plenty of spots.

Sweet breakfast spot and amazing food. People come here for the avocado toast I hear but today I tried more than that with a group of friends and everything we ate and drank was just as impressive as the last. At this point I've lost count of how many times I've been here. Some of the best avo toast I've ever had, immaculate coffee and atmosphere. The prices are quite insane but admittedly it's been worth it every time. This place is a must if you're in the area!

As an avocado toast connoisseur, I wanted to love this place and they just didn't make it easy. If I were to ever come back I would do an online order because those are the only orders they prioritize. We waited 40 minutes for 2 coffees and two avo toasts. Zero seats available which wasn't a bad thing because the furniture was beyond uncomfortable and we either had a dog barking at our feet or a child circling. After 40 min we asked if they could make our order to-go instead of dine-in. The coffee they gave me wasn't the one I ordered but at that time I was over it to wait for another. The toast was at least a decent portion and the server who rang in our order was very friendly. She was in the moment and enthusiastic about the product. Spent $40 + $5 tip. Definitely did not feel worth $45 value for our experience/ product. Wish we would've stayed with our usual, Keen coffee. More affordable, efficient, and better quality. Good luck avo lovers.

I came here to finish up some work on my computer. I love the ambiance and seating availability here, it feels like there is alot of space. I ordered the matcha latte and the hot n spicy avocado toast. The latte tasted great and honestly was probably one of my favorites! The avocado toast was also really good, if you like a mix of sweet and savory, with a little kick from the chili flakes. The staff here were helpful and gave their favorites for the food! However, this place felt a bit expensive for the food which I know sometimes comes with avocado toast. Also there were no outlets, barring one that was at a high stool.

Service were okay but they could have been clear whether they bring the food out or we go pick up. They gave us a number and was told they will bring it. Then our latte was ready sitting there for 15 mins. They called our name but when we went up one of the employees told us they will bring to us and that’s not our. So we continue to wait until another guy came outside to called our name and we went back to find out that latte sitting out was our.The matcha brulee didnt taste the same. It was soggy and burnt. Not the brulee part that was burn but the toast itself was burn.Avocado lox toast were alright.Matcha latte were a bit too light, could have been better with a strong matcha

The ambiance of Kit Coffee shop is charming. The regular coffee is delicious, but the seasonal hot almond praline latte I ordered was a bit over-extracted, giving it a slightly burnt taste. Despite this, it was enjoyable. The food options were decent, albeit slightly pricey, and the wait was a tad longer compared to other coffee shops. I'd consider returning, but I'd stick to ordering coffee.
