The food and drinks were excellent. The ocean view is amazing. Staff was very friendly. Me and my family had a great time. We will definitely come back soon!!!Thank you,David Sajasi
My hubby and I stopped in here for happy hour while our teenagers were across the street at the hotel pool. When we walked in the bartender greeted us and told us to sit anywhere. We sat down and the music was so loud we had to change seats. We chose a table closer to the bar and when I pulled myself up to the table I put my hand in something sticky. I then got up to go wash my hands and realized I had also sat in something sticky. So gross!! I went to the bathroom to clean up and it was the dirtiest I'd ever seen. I went back to meet my husband at a different table and we sat for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging we were there. I was so grossed out by this point anyway, so we left. Never again!!
Awesome food and service was impeccable. Great location for a quick bite and refreshments. Open windows light breeze and sunshine. Awesome
Loved watching all the games on Sunday morning as well as enjoying the breeze with an open atmosphere. Margs were amazing, huge, and well worth the price! Chips and salsa were some of the best we've had and kept us content!
Mexican cantina by the beach. Good selection oh Margaritas. Service could have friendlier. Excellent place to watch sports with high quality fairly big screens
Go here each year on vacation. Taco’s are great especially the steak. Service is quick and friendly.
Fish tacos were delicious and they actually had a nice spicy kick. The tires amigos dip tray was also a good start. It was raining and they were open. Staff is cool. It's your bar/taco environment
.On this New Year's Day this past year, my friend and I were visiting Newport Beach and after wandering around the area, we stopped in for a meal as we were getting hungry. The Cabo Cantina was our choice as we both like Mexican food which we find filling and tasty. We drank some Modelo Beer along with our food. I had the chicken enchilada which is one of my favorite Mexican dishes as my friend and I were watching some football and basketball on the restaurant's TV screens. Needless to say, on New Year's Day, the restaurant was quite crowded and we noticed some of the patrons were playing some air hockey on a table not far from where my friend and I were eating.
Went there twice on our visit to the area. Waitress was Alexa or something like that, she held out table for us so we could go to pier to watch sunset. 2 for 1 Happy hour was great. Can't get huge Margarita 2 for 1 but small ones are great too. Lots of TV and staff and service are good but we loved Alexa.
We went here for something to eat and drinks. It was dirty and gross. The floor and table were sticky and dirty. Even the bench beside me was dirty and wet. The food was just okay. It lacked flavour. The drinks were cold but when one of us wanted a virgin margarita that was a problem and they charged for an alcohol one. They wouldn't make one with alcohol and one without for the 2 for 1 deal. The service was okay but not great. This place was not somewhere we would ever go again.

Nice location on a big green by the pier. Loved the TVs playing 70s CA rock and pop videos and the giant margaritas. Tacos were scrumptious. Fresh, simple, and plentiful. I love this place and wish we had something like this on the E coast. Cabo Cantina in NYC - pl we need it. Can never eat E coast Mex again.
