It doesn't seem like a good place to me, the meat is not good, and the burritos are very expensive for the size, it's not what I expected, a bad place to eat.

Rest assured, that every 5-Star review from all these 'random' names u r seeing posted, are likely, planted....The food has completely taken a MAJOR dive in quality, after (original) Owner sold Biz last year. The front-desk guy was very courteous, & kind. Unfortunately, I'm there to enjoy the FOOD! Everything has been cheapened. Chips not same quality as before. Tasteless. No more Pollo or Steak Bowls. I'm not sure the poultry they served me was actually 'Chicken'.... to this day. The breast plated, was massive, the size of a 2 lb turkey & "off" smell. 'Gamey' odor. Oddly cut too. Sent Combo back, told the Server there was something very weird about a Chicken breast that looked like this, it was just ridiculously large! The Salsa was like water. Rice & beans, tiny portions, Owners skimping everywheres to cut costs. This, was patently obvious. I wouldnt recommend trying the food here; locate somewhere else for healthy Mexican fare. If I can't even trust the poultry they're serving, could be some wild bird they're subbing on the cheap - that does NOT look or smell, like normal Chicken?? I was afraid to eat it? Buyer Beware!!!

My wife and I enjoyed a great meal with fajitas, mahi mahi taco, chicken tortilla soup (yum!), and chile relleno (unique and flavorful). Unpretentious, inviting setting.

Place is a complete joke sense it been sold . I have been coming here for 20 years and it’s a real shame it’s not owned by the original owner. Food was definitely better before. I’m disabled and ordering doordash is literally a life savor for me . I tried to order food on doordash and not one dish has a description of what’s in it . They don’t have options for steak or chicken on a burrito that’s either steak or chicken so when you add steak it’s on top of the original price of a steak burrito. When I tried to build a steak California burrito it came out to $25 dollars when it’s only 12 at the store . I called la fogata to see if I can build a 15 dollar burrito and they make my 12 dollar burrito but the lady wouldn’t listen. I told her a 110% mark up for a delivery service that they are not providing or own is not reasonable! She kept saying I can order on doordash as if she doesn’t understand what the problem is . Once I said she was being irrational she wouldn’t shut up until I had to talk over her and she hung up on me . Very ghetto irrational people work here ! She also owns Mario’s a taste of Italy so I’m banning that too because I will not give irrational thieves my money. This lady essentially buys other businesses and thinks she has a right to mark up her food 110% for a delivery service she doesn’t own while scamming disabled people!
