The best Tuna Melts and Roasted Veggie Sandwiches ever here. If you looking for healthy choices sandwiches, Newport may be the place to be. We stopped here a few days ago with my work lunch crew, and we were happy with our choice. I got a huge Tuna Melt with french fries and a drink. Not really expensive here either. Great owners and staff. My first time here, and it wont be my last.

Stumbled on this little deli while in Newport Beach...in short-DELISH!! I'm a sucker for good black coffee and this place does not disappoint. I paired it with a toasted bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes and red onion...I know not a common combo but crazy good!! Poured some of the house salsa and I was hooked!! My friend got the Meaty Burrito and she said it was one of the best burritos she's ever had...that says a lot!! Will definitely return to try out their other menu items.

this is one of my favorite cafés to go to. Sam is the owner of the café, him and his wife are so sweet and extremely generous to all the regulars. The food is always ready when ordered for pickup. They also accept phone orders and will do anything to make your food as great as it can be. They have a wide variety of meals and you can never go wrong. It's also always clean. Will always stop by after a long shift :)!

Disgusting but there were obvious black insects in my chicken noodle soup. When I confronted the owner and showed him, he told me at first it was garlic seasoning, but they were too big to be that and it was obvious, he later on said they were chia seeds..... chia seeds in chicken noodle soup? Give me a break. I've been coming here for months but I will no longer be coming here. Do better!

I have eaten here almost every week for the last 20 years. It is on the 3rd owner since I've been working in the building and I have to say the food has been incredibly consistently good over those years. The current owner definitely has improved several aspects of the taste while keeping long time menu favorites going. His soups are tasty and he even made a thanksgiving turkey meal for the holiday week! This turkey / stuffing combo was one of the best turkey meals I have had outside of my wife's smoked turkey! The gyro and the Santa fe chicken salad are my go to weekly specials. Cobb sandwich and turkey sandwich are my favorite sandwiches. Prices have increased this last year but they have gone up everywhere.

Ive been coming downstairs to this deli for a long time there used to be a nice young girl that worked there ive never had any problems. They recently hired this awful lady with a. buzz cut and i refused to even go down there anymore. The lady was incredibly rude, she couldn’t be bothered to take my order while i stood there patiently in front of her and then when i asked her a simple question she snapped at me and gave no regard to customer service. this lady is a rude person and has had complaints from multiple people in the building. she should not be working in any customer service type job especially in a medical building.

Okay,so primarily everyone eats here because they work nearby.I feel bad for the staff! Don't tip, because the owners won't give them their tips. The owners keep their employees tips. The owners don't pay them right and yell at them and accuse them of crazy stuff (in front of customers!) also, the owners yelled at the doctors wife that I work for accusing her of not paying for her lunch in front of other customers. This place is insane. The two stars go to the staff and the convenience and that's it.
