Service was pretty bad, it took them twenty minutes to take our order despite it not being very busy, my cocktail was served in a broken glass and it was not comped, the busser was very sour and was groaning and sighing while grabbing our dishes as we were still sitting (weird), the yolks on the eggs benedict were hard and not runny, breadbowl for clam chowder was stale and hard to chew. The view was nice though I guess.

I made a reservation online and checked in with the host at 11:30am yesterday on 06/06/25. She told me I’d receive a text when my table was ready. At first it estimated 30 minutes but I got a text that it would be longer due to being busy. I was pretty patient but after an 1hr10min go by I got a little frustrated. I had been sitting down and watching the host sit down multiple groups that didn’t look like they made reservations because on yelp it said I was 2nd in line with a party of 18 ahead of me so I figured none of those groups could be ahead of me. I went up to ask how much longer and heard the host tell the lady ahead of me she could fit them in. I got frustrated and asked her what happened to my reservation and she didn’t know what to say or do but looked lost and said she could sit me down. She said she sent me a text that the table was ready but I showed her my phone showing I never received anything like that. I get that mistakes happen but atleast own up to it. I was waiting for an extremely long time but I didn’t leave because it was my brother’s birthday. Other than that the food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. The gentleman that was helping the host (the manager I think) was very kind.

Truly a great place for indoor dining. Welcoming, nice view, and a wide menu.
The food was perfectly cooked and made all the needed changes to please my taste.
Unfortunately can’t say the same about takeout. Got the wrong sides and the lobster roll was tooooo oily 🫢🤢

Great harbor view!

Service was nice and atmosphere was good. I can see yachts outside. Parking is available with around 4.5 dollars per hour in the park parking lot using parkmobile app.

The food was good but slightly expensive for me. Ahi tacos were $21 (in the picture) and I felt a little bit pricy even if their great flavor. Avocado toast was $18 and it was good but a little bit pricy too. Also, they do not have price for coffee in the menu ($5).

If weather is nice, it would be the good place and Newport Pier is accessible by walk.

Overall, satisfactory choice for me except price.

Didn’t even like to take a picture of the food. It was terrible. This place is just a rip off. Skirt steak was worse than a rubber, waiter was in a hurry and not pleasant to work with to get the food we wanted, it was a total waste of money and time ! When I complained about the food the reaction was terrible, it was like she was saying “we knew that, why did you come?”. Went for the location and the views ! Have zero expectations on the food!

Fire-grilled artichokes were a bad choice—I didn’t like them at all and couldn’t finish. I’m not a picky eater, but these just weren’t it. I ended up eating dinner at home. I’m a seafood lover, so I should’ve ordered the calamari instead. Everyone else’s food at my table looked great—just not mine, and I actually like artichokes!

Lighthouse Cafe is a fantastic spot for weekend brunch with a stunning waterfront view! The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and efficient. The only downside is that parking can be tricky, so plan ahead. Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing meal by the harbor!

Good food, service and views

Come for the food, but don't miss the Bloody Mary's. Just the right amount of spice and served in a mug worthy of a hangover or just a nice weekend in Newport

Overall it was a decent experience. There were some small hiccups at first, but our server was kind and accommodating. The food was alright, although the beignets were amazing. The view was nice as well and the place itself had a nice aesthetic.

Meh. Nice view but very sterile atmosphere. A lot of walking to get to our table.

Great atmosphere, food and service. The dishes were quite delicious and there was an interesting selection. Our server was Mary and she was amazing!

I made a reservation at Lighthouse Cafe for my brother's friends to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was completely unacceptable. From the start, the service was terrible — the server was unprofessional, disappeared for long periods, and the tables were dirty when the group arrived. I had informed the staff ahead of time that I would be covering the bill, but the server was nowhere to be found when it was time to pay, forcing the birthday guest to pay for his own meal, which was extremely embarrassing. The food was also a huge disappointment — the shrimp pasta was inedible, the beignets were cold, and they were served in the middle of the meal instead of at the end. What was supposed to be a special celebration ended up being stressful, disorganized, and embarrassing. For a restaurant that presents itself as a quality establishment, this was a completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. I would not recommend Lighthouse Cafe to anyone looking to host a special occasion.

Food was okey. I ordered Avocado toast. I would assume the bread was toast but it doesn't taste or feel like it was toasted. I'm glad my husbands food was good. Ambiance is always great there, romantic to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.
