Yum, yum and yum. The chicken fried rice was so refreshingly hot, temperature wise. So fresh. And so tasty. We also ordered two different types of pho. A rare beef and well done brisket with cilantro, and also fillet mignon pho. They were delicious. The broth had a lot of depth to its flavor, the meat was perfectly cooked, and they’re extremely generous with the noodles and meat. Often pho is light on anything other than broth, but not here. Great value. Great taste. Food is fresh. And the servers were very polite and professional. Highly recommend.

SO good. The Chicken Noodle Soup was perfect when I was sick. The broth is so nourishing.

Nice quite and. It too busy place to get some Vietnamese food in Newport. Food quality and taste doesn’t come close to the all time favorite bamboo bistro in corona Del Mar but you also don’t have to wait for an hour for a table. Their pho is good and hearty. The Vietnamese spring rolls are ok although the peanut sauce was very runny. Ambiance is nothing to right home about. Also on a Friday night they pretty much close any around 9:30. No alcohol served but you can bring your own beer which is really nice.

Staff was very friendly and my pho was great! My husband got the fried rice with beef and had enough beef for every bite! Prices and good for the area. Will definitely be returning for date night.

Tasty! They use the freshest ingredients. My fav is the Rare Beef Pho! Always delicious! It just might be the best pho in Newport Beach! And reasonable prices!Service is fast and friendly! They do take out as well! The decor is nice and peaceful with lanterns. Almost feels like you’re in SE Asia.

Honestly, the food was just not good. And they forgot part of my order. Should’ve known it wasn’t gonna be good when I saw curry on the menu for a Vietnamese restaurant.

I admire this place! They prepare splendid food, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is a real pro, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the clients is nice. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

We wish we could give Lotus Bistro a higher rating and that it lived up to its hype, but sadly, it doesn’t.We got the Filet Mignon Pho and the Chicken Pho delivered and everything came poorly packaged in styrofoam containers. The noodles and meat were in the same small styrofoam container and bc the filet was completely rare and the bag was opened, the blood had seeped all over on to the noodles and it just looked so unappealing. The filet mignon itself was soft as butter though. The chicken, on the other hand, was totally dry. I like the addition of fried onions for the soup, but really we just had broth and some noodles bc of how dry the chicken was. It was as if it had been made weeks ago and there was no way to save it and no amount of broth could have made it tender. No one wanted to eat it.The noodles were also on the hard side and not the freshest for either pho as well. There are just such better pho places in OC that there would be no reason to ever try this place again.

If you are craving Pho, Lotus Bistro is the place to go! I always order a large #20 (chicken pho) and it is consistently delicious! Some weeks it tastes a little more bland than others (less salt), but usually it's perfect! Portion, food quality, and service is great. Sometimes it takes a while to get your bill (especially if you're there towards the end of the night), but you can just walk up to the register and get someone's attention. I also highly recommend the Vietnamese Dumplings (in the New section of the menu) and their shrimp rolls. I've had the calamari too. Can't really go wrong with anything. Enjoy!
