Was the first time I have been less than thrilled about the fixed price menu. My selection of Beef Wellington was not great. Next time will stick with known menu staples of filet mignon or scallops.

Its always a pleasure to return to Marche Moderne and remember just how good this beautiful restaurant really is. From the first steps inside the door, the staff were warm and welcoming. I had dinner at the Bar and enjoyed the Tasting Menu. Each of the courses were attractively plated and delicious, reflecting high quality ingredients brought to their full potential by the talented kitchen team. Of note, the Nicoise Salad and Chicken Cordon Bleu were classics, given a modern, yet respectful touch. For dessert, the Autumn Carmelized Apple in a rich calvados ice cream and caramel was a rich and decadent end to a memorable meal. I'd also recommend the wine pairing, which really complemented each course. Service, as always, was friendly attentive and knowledgable. I look forward to returning to Marche Moderne soon.

Solo celebration; wait staff Philip was accommodating, earnest to please, thoughtful, and came up with good dinner recommendations. Tri cheeses in onion soup were pretty good, fluffy couscous accompanied red wine reduction lamb shank. The kitchen baked warm Pain d'Epi with sprinkled granular salts on butter were amazing, not to miss for $7.0.

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. This was a wonderful experience. Our server (unfortunately I don't remember his name), was very friendly and did a perfect job explaining dishes. My husband and I let him pick our wine for our entrees and the choices couldn't have been better. I had the market fish (salmon) and my husband had the lamb special. We had the beet salad and the sashimi hamachi as appetizers. Every dish was so flavorful, and beautifully presented. What a great place for a special occasion.

We received a very warm welcome from the hostesses for our anniversary, which we truly appreciated. However, our table was placed right in front of the bar and in the middle of foot traffic, which wasn't very romantic. Our server was very polite. The duck liver mousse, though flavorful, was too soft in texture. The sweetbreads were a nice idea, but both the sauce and the mushrooms arrived cold. The vacherin also wasn't a traditional one, and I was expecting it to be flambéed. Despite these issues, we will definitely return—we know how talented the Chef is, and we look forward to trying the experience again.

We love Marche' Moderne! They adjust their menu depending on the season and we had the most delicious food last night accompanied by a French white wine and lastly a scrumptious chocolate dessert. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night. One of the TOP restaurants in Orange County and it is always a treat coming here. The freshly baked bread and French butter are a must!

This was our fifth time here. The food, classic French, and service are exceptional. The price is steep, but the restaurant was fully booked and with good reason.

Never disappointed with a meal at MM. we've been going there since they were in SCP. The food and service have always been amazing. The $35 cake cutting fee is a bit excessive.

Literally the best restaurant in Orange County Consistently great both from a service standpoint, as well as a quality of food standpoint I had the Dover so special, which was outstanding. Always a pleasure to eat there.

My partner and I had not dined at Marché for two years. Not sure why, but we made a reservation for two weeks out as we departed. The cuisine is distinctive and unlike any available within comfortable driving distance. Each preparation is precise and appropriate to the primary ingredient. Service is welcoming, personal and precise. The wine list is primarily French and fairly priced. The kitchen does seafood extremely well, but one can find something for most every taste. On balance, a fairly priced exceptional treat.

I made a mistake in my reservation and showed up a day early. The host was super gracious and kind and found us a table anyway. But that's where the good news stopped. No server came by. Three other tables were sat around us and had servers attending to them within a couple of minutes. I asked for a server and none came. After 20 minutes of sitting and waiting, we left.

The hostesses walk on us with smiles and very professional all the way staff including the bus boys for friendly and professional or where Jeffrey or Jeff was excellent
