I have been enjoying Mario's since I was a little girl hanging out at her moms office job in Newport Beach during summer vacation. I have always had an obsession with their pasta salad (no veggies) with cheese and lots of ranch. It's AMAZING!!!! Their pizza is also top tier, my brother is a big pizza guy and he loves it. The crispy crust that's not too thick but not too thin, just enough cheese and sauce too. My mom loves the sub sandwiches, anytime I tell her I'm stopping by she wants one, even if it's gonna be for lunch the next day LOL. I don't live local anymore so when I am in the area I stop here every time! I just love Mario's so much, and you will too if you give it a whirl for lunch or dinner one day. The men behind the counter are so amazing, so nice and helpful, and just so welcoming. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in the door and it just makes me feel good to support a business like that.

Mario's is a must for our family when in Newport. Service is always amazing. They treat us like we are their most important customers. Our family will normally stick to the pizza and salad but if the rest of the menu is anything close to what we have tried, you can't go wrong! Our kid's especially think their cheesy garlic bread is AMAZING

We have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious. I recommend the Italian sub, chicken parm pasta and their pizza. I understand popular favorites are Marios Special and shrimp scampi. Mario is a friendly guy ... greets his customers with a hello. He's been doing this for a long time and he really knows great food and service !! Definitely check it out.

Marios has great customer service, family friendly establishment all around. The Margherita pizza is so good it has the most perfect crust i've ever had. I also had the chicken fettuccine alfredo which was also amazing! come here for a awesome italian cuisine experience

Got takeout on Friday night with a coupon that came in the mail. It was worth it! We got speghetti and meatballs, large pizza with ricotta, and a Caesar salad with breadsticks. The pizza was pretty good. The ricotta was great, could have used more sauce but still good and pretty large size. The salad was fine, nothing spectacular, and the speghetti was pretty good. The food was hot and ready when we came to pickup at the time they gave. Will definitely return.

Disappointing. Apparently the quality of food is hugely different if you order for delivery. The meatballs are very gritty and tasted like dog food, which sounds exaggerated but is the only way we can describe it. The fried ravioli and regular ravioli is okay, about average. The salad is not great, got barely any other topping in it. The garlic bread was burnt and nearly rock hard. The soup was also very poorly. Definitely not what we had hoped for given the ratings of this place.

Ordered takeout. Everything was ready on time. The pizza (Hawaiian and Margarita) was good with a nice crispy crust. Fried ravioli was nothing special but ok. Pasta salad was very large and fresh.
