This is real Italian cuisine. I am very delighted with the texture of the breadsticks. It is not chewy like a piece of rubber, it has a great mouth fill, and it melts in your mouth. It is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to people that love Italian food.

We had lunch here on Saturday. There is ample parking. The restaurant itself is small and quaint. A charming place for a home cooked Italian meal.
We started with an antipasto salad. The salad was large enough for 3 or 4 people. We then split a foot long spicy Italian melt sandwich. The sandwich is served on a French baguette and it was light and flaky. We couldn't stop eating the sandwich and quickly polished it off. We then shared a lasagna. My favorite pasta dish and this one ranks right up there with the best of them. A large portion will lots of meat and melted cheese and served with two pieces of garlic bread. We finished off with a garlic chicken pizza. The fresh tomatoes, chicken and garlic just blend together so well.
We had an amazing meal. The service was friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to come back and try more of their items.

Ordered double pepperoni take-out pizza; none of the slices had more than three slices of pepperoni, a third of the slices had only one slice of pepperoni on them, one slice had only a couple of remnants of pepperoni not even equivalent to one full slice of pepperoni. One piece of pepperoni per slice of pizza does not qualify as “double pepperoni”!

A charming little restaurant. Ordering is counter service, but don't that deter you. They bring the food to your table and we've never had a bad meal here. Sitting outside on their small patio is a casual atmosphere. They serve beer and wine. The meals are well proportioned, but not gluttonous. We go on a regular basis and have never been disappointed
We visited the area with family, and wow! This cozy place has the best margherita pizza! We absolutely loved it and will be back again whenever we’re in the area. The owner was there, and he was so fun and friendly! I strongly recommend this place!!! ?????

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mario’s located in Newport Beach, and it was an experience worth sharing. The menu at Mario’s is extensive, offering a wide variety of classic and specialty pizzas, along with a good selection of salads, pastas, and appetizers. I have been there many times in the past and had the opportunity to try a variety of pizzas and pastas selection offered on the menu. This place does not disappoint!! In addition to the fantastic pizza/pasta, the service at Mario’s is top-notch. The staff is attentive and courteous. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere made it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive, making it a great value for the money. Mario’s - Newport is definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for some excellent pizza or pasta.

We just arrived from MI today and while waiting for rental to become available we stumbled upon Mario’s. We were greeted and welcomed by the owner with a warrm smile and hello. We started with the cheese bread - excellent and ordered - chicken parm, chicken piccata, fettucine alfredo with grilled chicken and a ceaser with grilled chicken. Portions are very genrous and exceeded our expectations with taste. Owner came over to check on us to make sure our food was hot and tasty. He felt bad that my daughter was only having a salad so he sent over a complimentary slice of pizza. Super kind! Recommend Mario’s if youre in the area. Yiu wont be disappointed.
