This place is okay, nothing special about it other than the view of the ocean, keep in mind that theres a parking lot in front of before the beach. It may look like beach front on the map but not really. Had breakfast here, chorizo scrambled eggs and cold coffee.

Stopped in yesterday while out on a cruise on the bike. This place is fun, great atmosphere, wonderful looking food and a great beer selection. Sweet views being able to sit at the front by the sidewalk people watching right on the beach. If you’re riding through stop by and grab a bite and a drink. Highly recommend the big cup option over the pint. You’ll thank me later.

Good food and service. Late dinner. We were informed the kitchen would be closing within 15 minutes of our arrival so we quickly ordered. Crispy fish tacos, nachos, quesadilla and a burrito (warning: SPICY SAUCE). The meats were smoked, the seafood was fried to perfection and the drinks were great. Loud & lively atmosphere.

We had late breakfast carnitas Dias shared between 2 people and it was SO good. Would 10/10 recommend. and our daughter wanted a cheeseburger and the chefs allowed it even though it wasn’t lunch time menu yet. Service great. Atmosphere great. Nice people. Fast and good service. Great for kids. Will definitely be back!

But the bouncers! The security! Unbelievable, absurd, horrible, just awful. I had a drink inside, went out for a smoke, and they wouldn’t let me back in – I had to wait in line again! They should be fired! Sorry, but they’re idiots.

It was a Tuesday summer evening and it was as busy as it could ever get. Even so, Todd and his crew were keeping the entire place popping; Talia behind the bar was somehow able to keep *everyone's* drinks topped off and Sebastian was running food and drink like an absolute mad person.
Grab the wings as the flats and drums come attached (actually finger licking good) and I could barely finish 6.
The food and atmosphere are unique, but it's the service that really pushes this place into the Newport Beach Hall of Fame.
My server Sandy's was awesome. She gave the best service. I am a customer service professional, and she passed all my expectations. Had an app, southwest egg rolls, and draft beer. Both were delicious. Good location and beach. Make sure you get Sandy as your server.

You are coming here for the infamous schooner’s, a 32oz mug of draft beer, cider, or seltzer. The food is quite good for bar food, but it’s still bar food so burgers, pizza, etc.
Great place to watch a game and enjoy indoor/outdoor environment, people cruising along the boardwalk.

Pretty fun vibe, loud music, super crowded, but this was for Memorial Day weekend so this is kind of what I was looking for. The food was really good for the price and the drink options were good. Definitely recommend giving it a visit.

Mutts is one of the oldest dive bars in Newport with over 50 years open. The music is always great (One of my favorite reasons for going), and their beer selection is outstanding with probably something like 40 or 50 beers on tap. The food is really good, the nachos are amazing and huge portions. My favorite thing is the mahi burrito, which you can’t find in most restaurants. The iconic sign outside always has something great to say! I highly recommend Mutts and one of my go too’s while I’m in Newport.
