Newport Fusion Sushi

Absolutely delicious! This is some of the best sushi I’ve had, not to mention the wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. The food came out super quick but I think we may have eaten it even faster. We’ll be back for more!

My new go to place for sushi! Food was fantastic from start to finish. Not sure about another review stating they don't serve ginger/Wasabi. We were promptly brought a generous portion of both. The waiters were all super friendly and welcoming as well as the sushi chefs. Jinbei roll (pictured) was phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

I recently dined at Fusion Sushi and had a fantastic experience. Our waiter, Abraham, was super nice and kind, making us feel welcome from the start. We ordered the Korean barbecue and chicken fried rice, both of which were delicious. The Korean barbecue was tender and flavorful, while the chicken fried rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

The service was prompt and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, stylish decor. Overall, Fusion Sushi is a great spot for a fusion of Korean and Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended, especially if you get Abraham as your waiter!

This was my favorite place and now the quality and service went down the hill.

They do not give wasabi or ginger on each sushi order, and I kept telling them to give me ginger which took them a long time when the restaurant was not full or busy. They had 3 tables outside including mine and no one was in the restaurant to serve.

Quality on fish is horrible now. Not the same as before.

We wont come here again when it is down the block of our house

COME HERE!!! Could not recommend more. We came here twice in one week and will come anytime we’re in Newport. Our server was so nice and recognized us the second time we came in. They even catered to my little siblings who just wanted tons of cucumber rolls. The fish is so fresh. Each roll had a perfect balance of ingredients, the right amount of sauce (aka a lot), a great crunch, and overall quality you can taste. Our order came out super fast (even on a busy Friday night).They also have great options for or non sushi eaters. Make sure to stop by!

The lady serving us for some reason was a jerk from our first order. She scoffed at my husband for ordering a side of rice. I never got a drink refill. And she was chatting the back in Korean. The sushi rice was a day old, the fish was fine. When it was time to pay she took the card out of my hands and slapped the receipt in my hands. I literally have no idea why she had such distaste for us. We weren’t Karens. The funny thing is, we went to pavilions that same day and my Philadelphia roll there was way better and fresher.

We ordered, Salmon Sashimi, Beef Gyoza, Super Crunch Roll, Crazy Roll. Everything was super delicious, HOWEVER the crumbs weren’t crunchy, so the super crunch wasn’t crunchy.
