Newport Landing Restaurant

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with friends. The location is so beautiful and the server we had omg what a doll! she was so sweet, her name was a funny one I think steal steel or something like that, she is short and blonde and a pip! the food amazing and she offered suggestions and really made our experience great. We loved her, and we will be back for sure and will ask to sit in her station!!!Well done Newport Landing on this young lady, a good representative for the restaurant and amazing food!

Made a reservation online..drove an 1hr 30min only to discover the restaurant was closed that day. Now granted, I can understand an emergency. But once they discovered this would interfere with the reservations that were made..they should've had someone designated to calling each guest and personally informing them. Not everyone lives in the neighborhood so it was a great inconvenience. Also, it was unprofessional and shows how little they think of their customers time.

Fish and chips, half and half. It was delicious 😋. I was full and couldn't finish my frys and half of the cod. Cooked perfectly. Our server was very nice and helpful. Planning to come back soon ❤️.

Zucchini sticks were the best part. Fries were a bit soft but that could have been from sitting under the fish. There are quite a lot of places to get fried fish from in the world and most I have had are better than here. There appeared to be a type of zest in the creme brulee, orange in color, that was interesting but not my favorite. My biggest issue is advertising a Monday night fish and chips special on their menu and online only to find out that you have to specifically request the special when ordering or the fish and chips are full price. Probably, that deserves a 1 star rating but I'm just rating off the food for me.

Food was bland. Drinks were horrible. Food took 45+ minutes to arrive.

Good food, great view near the port, you can enjoy the fresh air at the terrace while you are dining.

One highlight was the service. Shaun, our server, was an absolute gem. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Her genuine passion and protectiveness makes us feel very welcomed.

Great ambience. Great food and service. We had a perfect evening and ate out on the balcony overlooking the water. The weather was perfect and yummy food. They also have a blender, which most restaurants dont anymore. Definitely will return.

During our 3 days in Newport Beach, we came here twice for dinner. Great shells. Great calamari. Everything we ate was really delicious.

9/29/24 ate here today after a few months maybe a year ago. Same great food, service and perfect sunny, eat on the water day........server got confused and brought us two full meals after we had quite a conversation about how we had decided to split the patty melt (great rye bread) regardless server was all good except I felt I was being called out as the one who got it wrong...whatever...............actually 4 and a half; there is always room for improvement. Anyway, had a perfect lunch of shared happy hour type plates even on a Sunday at noonish!! This was perfect for my husband and I to have a tasting of wonderful baja style fish taco, smallish ceasar salad, chicken and fries and a really good size smallish bacon cheddar burger with fries. Perfect for seniors and lighter eaters. Sounds like a ton of food but was really just right for two. View amazing and service very good. Highly recommend 8/23

Had a very nice day with my family, and the service was great, along with the atmosphere. Newport Landing I recommend everyone to try their deep fryed zucchini.
