We had a fabulous experience for my birthday. Service and food were superb. Chris was our server and we were extremely impressed with his knowledge/expertise of the menu and his friendly and attentive service. He deserves a raise!
I go to Nobu in Malibu very frequently. The ambience is a 10 out of 10 over there. The staff knows how to paste the food out. Sometimes the staff and Malibu isn't courteous, but for the most part they are. It was my first time going to the Nobu in Newport Beach. It's not as pretty as the one in Malibu. The food is the same. The service was absolutely horrible. We asked the waiter to space the food out and they brought everything all at once. I won't be going back.
