San Shi Go is a must-visit gem for sushi enthusiasts. The omakase experience is exceptional, showcasing the culinary mastery of Chef Yochi, Chef Macodo. When you call to make reservations, Jun is always there and he is simply the best! He always remembers his customers. Their top-notch customer service, combined with a delightful sense of humor, adds a personal touch to an already exquisite meal. From start to finish, it's a culinary journey that shouldn't be missed. Must visit!
Service top notch! The miso soup was excellent. Sushi melted in my mouth. I had tuna and salmon. Sake in a box was smooth. They accommodated our 7 year old with grilled chicken and rice off the menu. Fantastic experience.
Best omakase in Orange County
One of the best sushi places I’ve ever visited. The quality of fish is out of this world. They also have a lot of unique options for adventurous types (and enough tame items for people like me). They even have fresh wasabi! It’s very hard to grow and hard to find at a restaurant. Service was excellent. We even ordered more sushi and it came out quickly. I highly recommend the salmon avocado roll, unagi avocado roll, salmon sushi, blue crab roll, and tamago sushi.
One of the most amazing Japanese restaurants you’ll find in Southern California. Ingredients are superb with plating and preparation that is absolute artistry.
We went to San Shi Go a couple of days ago for my husband’s birthday. This has been our “special occasion” place for the past 10 years. As usual, this latest visit did not disappoint. Their safety measures due to COVID are excellent. We had omakase as we normally have done. Chef Dasuke made us the best sushi and appetizers. Each bite was heavenly and we can see that the chef genuinely was pleased to see us enjoying his creations so much. My husband does not like eel and the chef challenged him to try a piece (stating that it would be free if he didn’t like it). He took up the challenge and realized how tasty eel is/can be! Thanks for making this a special dinner for us again, chef!
One of the best sushi in OC.
Bento platers under $10 before 7 pm. The grilled squid was good also. Most dishes under $10
