The food was absolutely exceptional, very well flavored and generous portions. The reasonable prices and the friendly fantastic service made this place a true gem. I don't rate things very often but this one deserves a shout out!
Excellent food. Fantastic ingredients. Super delicious koobideh kabob, Persian rice was authentic and perfect, chicken kabob was amazing. Great for dine in or takeout.

Anybody near hoag Newport needs to go here. We started with the combination plate and the samosas, marinated olives and baba ganoush were the standouts of the plate. The dolmas were served warm and were cooked very well. I really like my beef koobideh kebab as it was so juicy and tender it fell apart. The interesting one was the Iskender kebab. The sauce was very fresh. Excited to go back

Delicious!! Had their Mediterranean platter, dolmades, filet Mignon Shish Kabob…all of it excellent! Try their Lemonade Mango drink! Refreshing and very tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant, and I don’t say that very often. Enjoy!

WOW! Mediterranean Lovers unite! Sooooo good! I love Mediterranean food and Pom & Olive did not disappoint, so fresh and cooked just right, the rice was perfect, the tzatziki was so creamy! The presentation was nice as well, I would’ve taken a picture of it but it smelled so good I just dug in!! Great little patio, looks like they have yummy cocktails too.
Food not yummy, they do not make it there , the owner said its made and warmed up, not tasty, the salmon was weird , babaganush was a very weird brown color . Rice no taste… 0 star

This was THE BEST Mediterranean food we have ever had! We especially enjoyed the dolmas and olives, and the chicken and lamb shawarma were deliciously seasoned! The falafel!! Sooo good! Will definitely be back for more! Great location too! The lady was so nice to us!
This place is great! Love all the vegan options! We tried the chia Fresca, hummus trio, lentil soup, tabbouleh salad, and falafel. Everything was delicious! The server was very helpful telling me what was dairy-free, vegan, etc.

We had the most delightful experience dining here. Everything tasted delicious and the owner was very kind and attentive. If you are craving Mediterranean food and are near the Newport pier area, I would definitely recommend this spot. My leftovers even tasted delicious the second day. We ordered some chicken and salmon plates as well as the appetizers shown in the picture. I loved the food so much! Best restaurant food I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was very calm, they had some Andrea Bocelli concerts playing on the TV. Nice vibe and excellent taste. Definitely want to go back!

Absolutely best authentic $25 meal you can experience. I had the lamb shwarma plate followed by Turkish coffee and baklava. That is $19 + tax and tip. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here right as you enter Newport Beach before you get to the parking abyss and hit and miss food options on the beach. You won't be disappointed.
