Port Restaurant and Bar

We went there with a last minute reservation. 2 of us were on time. One flaked and the other we told mot to come as we were told we Had to pay cover to eat! There was no music playing n we were only planning on staying about an hour to pregame eat and then go elsewhere. The Owner (Ali) was angry , verbally attacked and told us pay cover or leave. We paid $30 for an uber there, then had to order another and wait for another. As we left , we told The Owner we were bummed as we were hungry (and craving Mediterranean) but would eat elsewhere he started yelling at my guy and followed us outside. I HAD TO STAND BETWEEN THEM. My guy finally started to go to the driver side of uber and THE OWNER, ALI FOLLOWED HIM INTO THE STREET! We left but my guy was fired up all night. Not a good look for this restaurant. I found out later The Owner got into it with the drummer of the band and another patron that same night. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HARASSED. Horrible service. Not worth it! We salvaged the night by dancing off our frustrations elsewhere. Sorry to have to post this but if your guy is a Manly man Do not put him in a position like this its likely he Will get triggered. The owner needs to Not be there! He needs anger management for sure!

Arrived at restaurant to fine no one available to greet or seat customers. Went into kitchen to find hostess washing dishes and said the was the only one here ( 6pm). We poked our heads into the dining area and it was empty. Not a very positive view of this restaurant. We will not return

Added an extra 11% and we had already tipped. Terrible service and food was not like before. And so loud.

My halibut and mashed potatoes were off the chart good! Love the ambiance. Great staff. We will definitely come again.

Port in Corona Del Mar is an absolute gem! The food was incredible, the vibe was perfect, and Taylor the bartender made the whole experience even better—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made amazing drinks. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a cool spot! They always have live music each night, and karaoke on Mondays, and it’s such a good vibe. The bartenders are super friendly and food is tasty.

Went there for the first time and it was amazing everyone was so nice and very welcoming towards me and all bartenders except one made me feel like I was the most important person there very friendly and not judgemental

I had no idea The Port existed until a friend from Corona del Mar invited me out for their Monday night karaoke—and I’m so glad they did. This place is such a hidden gem. It’s a restaurant and bar by day, and on Monday nights it transforms into a lively, local karaoke scene filled with regulars and good vibes.

I sang a couple of songs, the DJ was fantastic, and the energy was just pure fun. We also ordered a bunch of food: cauliflower nachos, spicy hummus, a kebab plate, and a salad. Honestly, I was surprised by how delicious everything was, especially considering it has more of a bar-style atmosphere. The drinks were solid too—my dirty martini was perfect, and my friend’s tequila on the rocks hit the spot.

The staff was quick, friendly, and on top of it. Prices were very reasonable. As for parking, you can usually find a spot on the street or in the nearby neighborhoods—just keep an eye on signs so you don’t get ticketed. All in all, an awesome spot for a fun and flavorful night out. I’ll definitely be back.

We host multiple events here with our Fraternity yearly. Always exceptional service and food!

Great neighborhood Gem. Serve Mediterranean food that amazing. Great location for party's or a first date. Great staff and a fantastic owner Ali will take care of all your needs.
