I made a reservation for NYE on Wednesday 12/27. I received my confirmation email and there was nothing noting any sort of fee, except for a $10 charge for less than 24 hr cancellation per person on a reservation which is standard and understandable. My group arrived for our 7:30p reservation on NYE and once seated, were handed a pre-fix menu. Confused, I asked our waitress about it as it was not noted when I made the reservation. She informed me that for NYE there was a $75 charge per person for the pre-fix menu, entertainment fee and drinks, and I told her that was not noted when I made the reservation. She spoke to her manager and he told her that they hadn't changed the verbiage on OpenTable until after Wednesday when I made the reservation, but that they wouldn't honor my original reservation situation because it was NYE. I completely understand that they want to do a pre-fix menu for a holiday, but to show up for our reservation without any knowledge that this was the case and them admitting they didn't implement it until after I had made mine but that we would still have to pay the fee to dine there felt like poor management and a poor customer experience. After much back and forth, the manager agreed to wave the fee and let us order from the regular menu. That was the bulk of the poor experience, but a few other notes: -every cocktail ordered was not as advertised (missing sugar or salt rims, no tequila in margaritas but getting charged extra for expensive tequila) -service was very slow and we were only 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant. The food was good, but poor customer experience that left a bad taste in our mouths as they should have immediately honored our no fee reservation after I showed them our confirmation that didn't note the pre-fix charge.

Love when Pinch Me band is there. Draws an amazong croud of fun kind hearted people in their 50/60s. Danceable 80s music. Great singer - she was on The Voice i think. Chicken kabob os delicious. Not sure of we got the right steak. Drinks are good. Rice delicious amd the taziki spot on!

We chose The Port restaurant for our Christmas Eve dinner with visiting family. Made a reservation for 4 at 6:30 pm. Service was fair at best, they seemed to be short staffed but were not overly busy in the dining room. We were seated in the room just behind the hostess stand and a fair distance from the band. The music volume for the room size was pretty loud. The band started right at 6:30 pm and barely took a break in the two hours we were there. It was difficult to hold a dinner conversation at our table of four. I'm not an old prude, but loud music during dinner time is not comfortable. The front door remained wide open the entire time we were there. There were guests using the outdoor patio to smoke and smell traveled inside to the restaurant, very unpleasant, not to mention chilly in the dining room. I didn't think smoking was allowed in an outdoor dining area?? We waited at least 15 mins. for our server to come by so we could ask for our check, then it was probably another 10 mins. for her to bring the check, plus another 10 mins. to process our credit card. My husband and I returned a week later because we enjoyed the food. We chose to eat in the bar, thinking we wouldn't smell the smokers (again) on the patio.....guess what we could smell the smoke in the bar because the front door was again wide open. The service was good in the bar, food was tasty. Probably will not return anytime soon due to the uncomfortable setting with smell of smoke in the restaurant from smokers on the patio. Suggestion, keep the front door closed!! If you currently keeping the front door open to invite in walk-in guests, add signage outside to let people know you're open.

This place is a real treasure. The food / the wine / the service were all fabulous and it was supported by a really good musician. This is a real gem and we do not understand why it was not packed. We looked forward to returning. It was a special evening.
