My boyfriend and I had a pretty good time overall, the food was solid and most of the staff were super friendly. :) The only weird part was that the cashier and one of the servers came off kind of passive-aggressive, especially toward families. It made things feel a little tense, which was a bummer. Everyone else seemed cool though, so maybe it was just an off day or they’re new and still figuring things out. Would still come back, just hoping for a more relaxed vibe next time.
Jacob was the sweetest! I dined in alone and he made it a lovely experience along with the rest of the staff. I even forgot my card and he ran down the pier to return it to me! I love this place <3
Ruby's is a fun experience. The staff is top notch and very friendly. It was on our must do list when we were taking my mom to the beach for the day. She is a Cali girl and grew up going to Ruby's.
