BEST sausage to touch my lips in years! So juicy. Can't wait to go back for more. I had both regular and spicy. Highly recommend either.

Went on Saturday for a late lunch. Food was delish and the pasta was homemade. I had the sausage sandwich, one of the best I've ever had!

We love Sabatinos but the lady working the counter was a disaster today She was very confused about a very simple order and then ended up getting everything all wrong anyway and all after going over it 4 times

So convenient to be able to pick up so many of the restaurant's favorites here! One of our go-to locations. Always a favorite.

Amazing sausage sandwiches! Not too salty and tasted home made. Sauce was good too. Very nicely balanced.

This is a really good Italian place on Newport Island in Newport Beach. Very family friendly. When we vacation in Newport Beach we always go here a few times. They have nice outdoor dining (but the view is buildings and the parking lot). The service is always friendly but can get slow when they are busy. The menu is very large and most of the dishes are great. Some of our favorites are the Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, Stuffed Green Pepper, Caesar Platter (plenty for 3), Spicy Sausage Plate, Stuffed Pasta, and the Sausage Ravioli. I like to get a Side of Spicy Sausage. There is a satellite location on the mainland that has good food, but an inferior experience overall.

Such a disappointment today. We used to go often for their sausage & pepper sandwiches, but haven't been in awhile. I was the only customer. It took forever to get two sandwiches. When we got home, 10 minutes away, not only were the sausages cold, they were only browned on one side. There were only two or three strips of peppers, and one small strip of onion on the baguette.I'd asked for cheese. There wasn't any. We couldn't eat more than a few bites. The baguette was very chewy. We sliced the two sausages and fried them for dinner with a potato. We love Sabatinos Restaurant in the Lido Shipyard, and don't know what happened that this place went downhill.

Great waterside setting, Great early hours, friendly staff, and hearty Italian dishes. Love the off-the-beaten oath location and quiet setting outdoors. I loved every bite of my pasta dish!

Sabatinos has gone completely down hill. A special night on the town was disappointing. The veal special I ordered was inedible too salty eat and this morning I go to use my credit card and they gave me someone else's card. Un effin believeable

I really enjoyed this place overall. And weird as it sounds it isn't easy to find a lot of good Italian restaurants in SoCal. I dont even wanna start on whatever the nonsense they call Cali pizza is, but cauliflower and avocado does not equal pizza!! Anyway, saw this place when I was in New Port Beach and gave it a try. Good atmosphere, great weather to eat outside, laid back vibe. The menu has a good mix of more Americanized italian food and staples of more traditional Italian food. Soup: I didn't order the soup, I think it came with my meal, but I did get it. It was a cream soup...thats really all I can say about it. It a...was heavy on the cream. Bread: really nice, fresh heated bread. Could've been Brea, a lot of restaurants use them, but fresh baked brea is super good bread. The sausage platter: definitely the highlight and what they're known for. OK, so homemade sausage is a thousand times better than what we're all used to eating. The meat actually tastes and gas the texture of meat, not the random popping of fat and filler most sausage has. Anyway, the sausage was seasoned well, and threaded with some mozzarella, served over onions and peppers. Really good!! Capellini Arrabiata: really nice refreshing dish. Mix of angel hair pasta and a gravy that is a little bit spiced up from the regular gravy (marinara). The fresh tomatoes were a nice touch too...my only complaint is I like my arrabiata to have more kick to it. A little more spice and pecorino rather than parm...but overall a good dish and good portions. I'd def go there again, beautiful spot...and restaurants near water often lack good food. So this is a place to try. Still some items I'd like to try on the menu.
