This is my second time at one of their Sushi 101 tastings, and it did not disappoint. The sushi here is so fresh.

This was my first Omakase experience and man, I picked a great one. I was quite surprised that I had to take a car ferry to get here, but that was a cool experience. There are no on-site parking but, parking was available nearby and it's free after 6 pm. The food was incredible. They were on point with presentation, delivery, and taste. I highly recommend it and it's pricey! But, worth the price.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food is crafted with great care and is excellent. Jenny, our server, made us feel right at home and was attentive and polite throughout our stay. Compliments to the chef(s) for the amazing sushi! 🍣

Food and service second to none in SoCal. Brought my family and nephew a high end chef. We were amazed and hypnotized by the work of the sushi chef. We have been visiting for a decade. We loved the Omakase and went for a number of rounds - amazing experience!

We had the omakase, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was so delicious and fresh; the service was top-notch. The staff were super friendly and had a great sense of humor. It was such a memorable experience, and I’ll definitely be back when I’m back in town.

Wow this place! I've been living in LA precisely The Valley where the Mecca of the Best of the Best is. The owner was extremely rude, we did not have reservation, he made us wait out in the cold for 40 min when there were many tables open. He had the nerve to come outside & say sorry it's going to take a long time. Lol his loss.

Came here for my wife’s birthday and Yoshi was the best!! We did the omakase and was it worth!!! The staff here are so friendly and nice!!

Make sure to reserve! They do require a down payment but will be refunded as soon as you check in!

I’m not a huge sushi fan but I really enjoyed some of the dishes Yoshi gave us! Will definitely come back!

Always have a great time eating sushi here. The Omakase at the bar is top notch. Sushi & sake selection is great. Service is awesome.

One of the best Japanese Omakase in the area. Every dish is beautiful presented and tasted so well. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a unique dinning experience and great food.

I’ve tried out a lot of Omakase in LA and San Shi Go is def my favorite! The food quality is top-notch; you can never go wrong with whatever sake on the menu. Besides the most common Omakase pieces including Otoro, Uni, etc., I especially love love love the deep-dried shrimp head, Nodoguro, Shimaaji, Managtatsuo, Isaki, Kinmedai, Amadai, and Wagyu sushi. I can’t have enough of it and ended up with 26 pieces sushi (I would’ve had more if it was not already past the store hour?) The staff here is all welcoming. And lastly big shoutout to Yoshisan! He is the BEST!!!!!!

Best anniversary dinner. Omakase with Chef Yoshi was the best! Quality of fish unrivaled and the flavors were amazing. Will definitely be back!

Good quality food fairly priced. Everyone inside is very respectful. From out of town and wasn't expecting alot from a sushi bar in Newport Beach but it's a real nice place.
