Our food was delicious- Calamari, Caesar Salad and Veal Piccata. Service was also very good. We will be back.

Absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant in OC. The food and ambience can only be exceeded by the service. Stephano, Paulo and of course, Owner “Sal” couldn't be friendlier - it's always a delightful experience in dining

The bruschetta appetizer, Caesar salad, and capellini checca were delicious. The service was excellent. We always have an enjoyable evening at Sapori. I highly recommend this local gem.

Well worth dragging the old man out in the wheelchair in the pouring rain! Food was fabulous, service was superb, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat but we're still full from last night!

Excellent food and service. We enjoyed the Caprese Salad, and Bruschetta. The Seafood pasta was excellent. The Chicken was good, but would prefer an option for a side of pasta, not just a few veggies. The Ahi Tuna special was good, but unfortunately it was a bit overcooked. The Tiramisu was a great ending to our meal.

The branzino was overcooked and not great. The lasagna was okay. Have defiantly tasted better at other places. Prices have gone crazy. Cuppaccino is $8.50 outrageous.

We were seated at a table for 2 in the patio but one of us was facing the wall! We enjoyed our meal but the chairs are unbearably uncomfortable. Nonetheless we stayed for dessert which was delicious. We particularly appreciated that they brought a tray of all the dessert options for us to choose from....we could have chosen several but stuck with one. Overall we really enjoyed how classy the experience was. We'll definitely be back ❤️

We've been ordering their pizzas forever but tonight we decided to dine at the restaurant. Definitely a local crowd more old school not flashy nouveau. Pasta with clams Vongolle as well as the Oso Buco over risotto was outstanding. We started off with a calamari free tea, which was delicious. You could tell the calamari was fresh. And split a Caesar salad. We'll definitely eat at the restaurant more often.

As an Italian restaurant in an upscale neighborhood there’s a high bar- I’ve lived in NYC, LA, Paris, Portofino, etc…there are plenty of options even in Costa Mesa- nothing stood out to me- they didn’t have burrata, and looked stunned when I asked about it. It’s good- not excellent. I never knew the restaurant existed and I grew up in the area. If you’re really into Italian food, you may be disappointed- if you’re going for the company and a good meal - enjoy!!!

Always a wonderful dinning experience. Roberto has been our Server for years, he's the BEST. Food exceptional as usual. Fireplace was made it cozy...

We have had good food there and they have a beautiful patio with a fireplace. Unfortunately, our waiter couldn't be bothered giving two women the time of day. I believe that he was from Italy and maybe he has just been working too long as a waiter for too many years and he is tired of his job .
