Charming restaurant. Outdoor seating available. A beautiful, garden like atmosphere. Dined here last night and it was very busy. Couldn't hear ourselves talk. Other times I have visited this was not the case. Service is good. Italian food combined with American. Salmon is very good, good size portions. They handle special requests with ease. You are never rushed. Reservations are advised. While children are welcome, it is more conducive to adult dining. Price is average for this kind of restaurant. Not outrageously expensive and not cheap. Good for date night, special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, thank yous, business meeting. Pleasant experience overall.Vegetarian options: You can make a requestDietary restrictions: If you don't want a sauce or u want something cooked differently they will oblige within reasonAccommodatingParking: It is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. Not certain where one would park if lot was full. Doubt it would be an issue.

Great celebration evening, and the food & service was terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great Italian restaurant in Newport with a nice atmosphere.

As usual the cocktails and food at Sapori are excellent. We shared a Cesar salad which was wonderful; just the right amount of dressing. I ordered Oso Bucco with risotto and my husband ordered Lasagne, both meals were excellent. The service was very good, given it was Valentine's Day and dinner hour.

Suprema di Pollo Medici did not disappoint. Terrific flavor. Broccolini was well prepared. And the bread basket of ciabatta and focaccia was excellent. Top it off with outstanding service and safe to say another visit soon is certainly in the cards. Bravo!

First time venturing to the ristorante side. Hostess Victoria is an absolute gem! However, not the same can be said of the food execution. Ordered the Suprema di Pollo Medici (Chicken with marsala pine nuts raisins and mushrooms) and discovered afterwards that the entree was actually Suprema di Pollo Piccata (Chicken with lemon white wine capers and mushrooms). No wonder I was thinking to myself “where are the pine nuts” and these “raisins” are rather salty. Flavor was very good but certainly confusing for the taste buds for someone expecting Marsala. The mushrooms were nonetheless divine. Add to this, bread came in the middle of my meal (I felt that something about this meal was missing and voila it finally came). The bruschetta appetizer was an excellent starter so perhaps against my better judgement willing to give Sapori another try because Marsala is what I'm after. Cheers.

Been here twice 6 months apart, got sick BOTH TIMES.Also the entire restaurant smelt like a bathroom and no employee had an answer.Go elsewhere for Italian in Newport.

Sapori is a neighborhood gem. The wine list and menu offer an excellent variety of choices. Our meal was delicious and the service was great. Sapori offers both inside and patio dining. The patio even has a fireplace.

My husband and I came to Sapori for our anniversary dinner. Reservation was for 8pm but we got there about 10 mins earlier, yet we were seated right away. Service was great, very hospitable. The food was absolutely delicious and came out pretty quickly, despite it being a busy night. Complimentary valet service is definitely a plus. The staff at Sapori really take care of their guests, creating a very home-like ambiance. 10/10 recommend!

Service was marginal. They refilled my husband‘s water glass and mine was half empty and they didn't touch it. I asked for my leftovers to be boxed up and never received them, but the other guest at our table got her leftovers boxed up to take home. Not that impressed

We were here last week for dinner, their listing shows that they close at 10pm on the website and google maps. When we walked in, the waiter rushed us into ordering all courses at once(which is unfair and we had no clue why).. you need to either let us know before making us sit at the table or correct the timings everywhere or the waiters need to give a heads-up or not let any customers walk-in past 8/8:15 and expect them to leave early by 9pm.People come into restaurants for a reason, you just cannot keep rushing. This place sits in a shopping strip plaza charging fine dining prices.. we were offered to go for the entrees after paying around $150 for 2 people just to come sit eat at home.

Our experience at Sapori was excellent! The food and ambiance was amazing. We sat in the beautiful outdoor area, lovely. We had an extra special server named Victoria who made our experience even better!

Three of us dined in the beautiful Sapori patio on Thursday night. One lamb chop, one linguine dish and one pappardelle dish. All were amazing. Sapori's is a local secret. Always the best. Feels like goi g home in a glorious setting
