I haven't eaten at Sharky's since they closed the Aliso Viejo location. The food is still good and this location has some changes to accommodate the higher end neighborhoods.

Food was just ok. Chicken on power plate was cold and few veggies. Portions were small. Fish tacos at Wahoo was larger, more fish, less cost. Service was poor, and tables not clean.Told meal would be brought to table, was not. Had to go back for cutlery and glass for beer.

My church men's group had an informal dinner meet up last night at Sharky's in Newport Coast. It worked out just fine. There were 10 of us. Service was very quick. The food was fine. Also, the atmosphere worked great for our informal conversation.We had anticipated sitting outside, but, the spacious restaurant had plenty of seating to accommodate us, and the few other dine-in clients who came in. Most of the business was takeout, so, our being there for an extended period of time did not inconvenience other customers. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable.Vegetarian options: There are plant-based options on the menu.Parking: There is plenty of parking in Newport Coast Shopping Center.

The NOTchos we’re just tortilla chips. Cmon. We had to add cheese to make them Nachos!! I’m a local. Your bound to go out soon. My 9 year old just said she can’t believe Kraves went OOB and you guys are still around. Seriously tho we WILL NOT be back!

One of the best places I've had that offers delicious food and if you're all about healthy, clean eating, then you'll love Sharky's!! It's not the same Sharky's that's a bar and club out in Huntington Beach! Totally different places. This Sharky's is a Mexican grill and really amazing. This is my 2nd time here and not disappointed. The nachos look bomb but clean eating has been on the menu to eat and it's just as delicious and flavorful! In the heart of Newport Beach, it's in the same shopping center as the Mayweather boxing, training facility. Sharky's has a variety of ms I can dishes, from pizza, nachos, tacos, salads, and combo plates. A salsa bar that is unlimited and soooo good! Free chips too!

A very consistent place to dine. It's casual and relaxing. You order at the counter, but don't let that deter you from thinking it is not restaurant quality of food. I have gotten the steak caesar salad as well as the chicken one, and tostada. My family has gotten burritos, nachos, etc. The meals come with chips and they have an open salsa bar. The staff is always professional. It's been clean every time we go with lots of seating. The food is delicious!
