Fine setting and our waiter Rob made dinner memorable. A real personality and asset to the restaurant.
Our experience at SHOR was magical. The Jazz, the weather, the ambiance (on the patio) was wonderful. The food was next level. Our service couldn't be better!
I'm not one to write reviews however our experience definitely warrants one. We were visiting Newport Beach for my son's 4th birthday and our first night we had dinner at Shor. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Rob was our server and he made all of us but especially my children feel so special. He went above and beyond. My kids were talking about how much fun dinner was throughout our entire weekend. I didn't catch the managers name but she was wonderful and kind as well. Truly a 12/10 experience and so much gratitude for Rob! Thank you for making my kids feel so special. We will never forget it!!!! Thank you!
The dinner menu was changed drastically due to a concert on the property. It read like a bar menu as opposed to a seafood restaurant. Very disappointing.
This is a good place to go prior to a Summer Evening Event at the Hyatt., The food is o.k., service can be a bit rushes, noise level inside increases as the restaurant fills up. Not a place to "dine" but it is convenient to grab a bite.
Service was on pointe for sure. Loved the wonderful patio at Hyatt- really relaxed and got ready for the excellent jazz concert that night. My friend and I really enjoyed our food/ yummy and filling chicken tacos for me- shrimp fries and a lovely quesadilla for my friend. Of course you pay for what you get, and we got a great experience.
Food and service were truly outstanding! Wonderful weather and perfect for outdoor dining!
I didn't like my salmon was dry, and the food took forever even though we're no people in the restaurant. Was really expensive also
pretty decent hotel food. Burger and salad both good, taco has pickled veg added additional flavor.

We do the Easter brunch every year with family and feel we should have been warned only all you can eat brunch option this year. This option doesn't make sense for young kids.
Outstanding in every aspect and we are looking forward to the next special holiday buffett.
We had a wonderful dinner. Rob was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly. He was amazing with our 5 year old daughter. It was our first time in OC and he gave us some recommendations on places in the area to visit.
So dissaponted that we didn't have a better experience - we were looking forward to our free breakfast as new Hyatt Globalist members. We ere greeted kindly and gracefully by a young man. Our initial serve exhibited all the qualities of a happy person. Our second server was nice too. But you could tell he was over worked - not his fault. Food took forever to arrive and you could tell other families around us exhibited the same frustration. Kids and parents were getting really hangry. Food finally came and it was cold...sigh. My steak and eggs was undercooked and chewy. Bread was hard cold. Huevos Rancheros were okay. Oh, and we never got a second serving coffee. Our server never returned. A newlywed couple returned their cold eggs. I'm sure it's a good restaurant - we just probably caught it on a really bad day - who knows. Hadn't not been free, I probably would have been very upset and this review less forgiving. I just felt bad for all those families with starving children, mine included.
Our servers were friendly, professional and efficient. Special thanks to Juan! Breakfast was delicious!
