This restaurant is my go to. The food is amazing, There is so much variety and you feel healthy after you leave. The staff is so helpful and so knowledgeable and it literally is the best restaurant in Newport Beach.

A few years ago, my husband and I had dinner at the old location and decided to have dinner again at the new location on PCH. The restaurant in this new location is spread out in three separate areas. The wait staff go back and forth between areas up and down the stairs which I thought would be exhausting.! Now, as far our dinner experience - all I can say it was very disappointing. I selected the meatloaf. The meat was very dry, and the broccoli was hard to chew. The only thing I enjoyed was the mash potatoes. My husband had the ahi tuna which he said was so-so and not very good. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Sol Grill as the food is average and not very good. There are many other restaurants with much better food. On the other hand, our server was attentive, efficient and professional.

They have never failed me. My Wife and kids love to return here every Mother’s Day weekend or on my Wife’s birthday and though I start the evening thinking I don’t think I’ll have fun, I end up eating more than everyone. Steaks are my favorite, seasoned just right for the grill and all the waiters are committed to making a memorable experience for the guests. This is why we return time and time again.

We enjoyed Sol brusheta, focaccio bread, and garlic cheese bread. The brownie and creme brulee are great.Kid-friendliness: We ordered spaghetti with meatballs as there is no pizza. Wonderful meal for kids.
