Been driving by for years and finally decided to try. I was NOT disappointed. The food is AMAZING! True Italian style pastas, and hibernation inducing garlic bread (drooling just thinking about it). The staff were extremely kind and happy to chitchat. We will definitely be coming back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access (from the parking lot) is through the back. There is a busters station where they will lead you to the front. One section of dining room is only accessible by stairs.
I went there last Saturday night (August 17th) with my wife. We haven’t been there for about a year. I don’t know if they had a change of ownership and/or management, but the place was nearly empty at 8:15 pm. After a while, I realized why. Shoddy, slow service and then finally the “food” arrived. I would still be chewing my so called ribeye at Christmas if I attempted to finish it. My wife’s meal was no better. After the check, no one was at the front receiving area. I looked around for a manager, but no one to be found. I can’t believe how bad the place has fallen in such a short time. Too bad.

I ate here on vacay back in 2021. It was delicious. Rich flavor and creamy sauces. I am here on vacay again and decided to go because it was so good last time. I was extremely disappointed. I got the Manicotti con pollo and it was not good. The sauce tasted watered down and flavorless and just didn't have any flavor. The famous house salad dressing should be a vinaigrette. The creamy dressing it comes with just made the salad taste weird. I really wanted to be able to give more than 2 stars but I ended up throwing it away and not finishing it.
Minestrone soup is very good. Shrimps and bread to salty for me. Price is good. And service is very good!

Old school Italian restaurant with excellent service. Food was steller. We had the chicken parmigiana, the lobster ravioli and shrimp, and the Manicotti con Pollo entrees, shown in the photos. For appetizers we had the Brushetta and Shrimp Scampi.
Best tasting I've ever had. Got the Papa Combination.. loved it.. no complaints from the rest of my family either.. will definitely be a favorite when in Newport Ca.
Great food, great service! The waiters and waitresses remember everyone, and have fun personalities. I LOVE their gluten free pasta option.
