Had to try this place since I love to bake cupcakes!Ordered strawberry for my Saturday night dessert. 2 stars for cuteness, nice clean look of the frosting. Cake was soft but no strawberry flavor and the frosting was just okay. I had 3 small bites and couldn't finish it. It was also strange to order from an ipad not an actual person. I'm surprised they can charge so much for a cupcake!

I like to visit sprinkles since they tend to change their menu every month. I was able to get a cookie cupcake since they offer that every now and then. I also got mini cupcakes. The people were helpful. There was a lot of parking available since I went on a Sunday night.

Somebody wake up Candice or get a health inspector!! They sold me an old rotted brownie full of mold. The cupcakes are what this place is known for so just buy that.

This place used to be a happening place. Now they may as well go with a vending machine. Very impersonal service although the cupcakes are still good. You order via ipad. Is this a sustainable business plan? Bring back the order takers.

Just went into sprinkles at 10:45am on a Saturday morning and was told they were out of red velvet, dark chocolate and one other flavor due to online orders.. very frustrating to drive 30 miles from home to this location just to be told you can't get certain flavors due to them saving them. There were other customers there upset at this because we came not within even an hour of opening and everything is gone. That's the reason people come early to get what they want, if not just tell people to order online and don't do in store sales. This is ridiculous Sprinkles you better do something about this.

I give this place a 3 star because of the friendly service but I'm not impressed with the cupcakes. It's too rich and sweet. It makes you think why so many people are diabetic. I took one bite, and that's was enough for me. The cupcakes are pretty, but I had better cupcakes than Sprinkles. This is a hype. Nothing good if you like super rich and sweet. The location is clean and trendy. it's just too bad the cupcakes are meah!

Place is lame af. Have tried going multiple times the past month & they're always sold out of everything. Save yourself the time & gas and just go somewhere else. Done attempting with this place lol. Workers always got an attitude too.

This storefront is in a perfect location. They also have a cupcake ATM ! Come on Sprinkles. Always a rotating menu with the seasonal cupcakes. They offer gluten free, vegan, etc. great for the office, ladies luncheon or to surprise your hairdresser. Whatever the occasion is, stop in and try one out. Amber helped us and she was very sweet. Look forward to returning and trying a new flavor.

Every time I go, it's almost 50 bucks or more for a dozen, and they usually are very dried out

Sprinkles has improved their recipe not as dry as before, pretty decent. Flavors change which can be good or bad.

Moist, fresh and delicious. Easy to park here and close by Gelson's and some other cool stores. I just need a glass of milk now

Great place for some fresh cupcakes. They do have great variety of flavors to choose from, and you can customize your box or pre order a fixed mixed flavor box. Overall a good place for quick bites.

Newport Beach isn't really a location I think of when it comes to, "Oh, I want some decent cupcakes today." I hadn't heard of Sprinkles prior to this, and since I was in the area, I decided to give them a try- I'm very glad I did.Corona Del Mar isn't a great area to drive around in, but this place is pretty easy to find and locate. Once inside, the staff were very helpful, especially after letting them know that it was my first time there, which definitely helped with some of the more nuanced flavors they had. I ended up selecting Red Velvet, Lemon Blueberry, Triple Cinnamon, and Banana. The last one surprised me quite a bit. Banana-flavored anything typically isn't that great, but this blew me away. They've opened up a few locations since I've been here, but the Newport Beach location is absolutely worth trying out if you're a local or visiting in the area. None of their cupcakes are too sweet or bland; they're quite moist and decadent, and if you HAVE to - they do keep well if you vacuum seal them for a day.
