WOW. Everything we ordered was incredible, the beef meatballs were packed with flavor, the pizza was perfection, and the onion rings were crispy and addictive. Seriously could not miss with a single item. On top of that, our server was AMAZING. She was super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This place absolutely nailed it and we can’t wait to come back!

Lived, surfed and nursed at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach for 15 years. Loved every minute. So, I decided to start 2026, by myself, back home at Stag's. Cool vibe, sultry and kinda no flash, but quiet money in torn Levi's, watched the guys play pool, TV's were showing football (not soccer) and basketball. Place was happy yet private. Drinks were large and strong, nice. Food is EXCELLENT. I sat at the bar and the staff was very fast, friendly and professional. They kept a close eye on me for safety, when men came over to talk, they knew most of the locals and I was new 😉. Left a big tip for the staff and left quietly. I loved seeing the waves from Balboa and my heart had that homesick tug when I got on the 405N as I headed home to BH. See you soon NPB and God Bless all at Stag's. Love, Debra, Bella and Chance

Sharon or whatever her name is the one with the brunette ponytail as well as the one with the blonde balayage is actually racially profiling their customers. I simply asked for change when we paid $50 and she gives us the dirtiest attitude. Genuinely it was racially insensitive and they were not treating us the same compared to all of the other customers. DO NOT COME HERE. They demanded us for a tip for doing the bare minimum.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. My friends were discriminated for no reason after doing so much to bring all of us together there. I received absolutely DISGUSTING behavior from them. There drinks are incredibly over priced and it is safe to say I will never be going back with my friends. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS if you are trying to have a good night,

There was a line to get in, but it went super fast, so we didn't have to wait long. Once you get inside, it is cramped shoulder to shoulder, like a can of Sardines. There are a lot of college kids. The beer selection is great. They have Guinness, which I love because a lot of bars don't serve it. The drinks are okay. Nothing special. They were watered down, or they gave you the knock-off brands of alcohol. I would go back to try the food.

On our trip to SoCal for Disneyland and Universal, we stopped at Stag Bar + Kitchen in the Newport Beach area. We got there around 11:30am and immediately greeted by some of the most attentive servers I've encountered in a long time. My mother and I both ordered strawberry margaritas, with a chicken pesto sandwich for myself and the meatball sub for her. Both drinks and food were excellent. The margaritas were mixed to perfection and rimmed with chile/salt, the sandwiches absolutely flavorful. For myself I actually thought the fries were the star of the meal, combined with their in-house ranch dipping sauce. Run, don't walk to Stag Bar + Kitchen because I know we'll definitely be making a stop here when we're in the area again.

Ladies: if you want to be hit on by guys with trucker caps, graphic tees, and buzz cuts, this is where you should be. Men: if you don't dress down they'll suspect you're not visiting for the ladies. The bouncers are good dudes, they always want to chat and chill.
