Love the Asian chopped salad I order delivery once a week. My first time at the restaurant. Lovely place but small. We shared quite a few dishes during opium hour My favorites are the potstickers & edamame The flourless chocolate cake was to die for!

Our first time at Starfish in Newport Beach and the happy hour was phenomenal! Our service was excellent and the espresso martini was to die for. I didn't catch his name but the gentleman working the host stand was very friendly and welcoming as well. We will definitely be back again soon!

We have gone a few times for Opium Hour ( happy hour) which is a great deal. It gets busy around 5:30 so we go early to ensure we get a table .

Everyone was friendly but service was a bit off. Had to remind staff about our drinks, or ask for condiments/utensils, then ask for the bill. We had to keep prompting them. Food was good, great happy hour. Will come back for happy hour.

We went there for their happy (opium) hour and the menu was filled with great options at reasonable prices. We settled on the OG Vietnamese rolls and coconut chicken satay skewers. They were both very flavorful and served in adequate portions. The music was a little loud to conduct a 1:1 conversation would be the only criticism I would have for our particular experience.

Incredible restaurant all around with authentic incredible food and people working in the restaurant that are equally incredible! Favorites in Orange County it's always difficult to decide if we're gonna go to Newport location or Laguna location because I feel like I'm trying to decide which one of my children I love the best!

We are long standing, Starfish regulars. We mostly do takeout from the Newport Beach location and when we throw a party or celebrate a holiday at home, we typically serve Starfish because there is something wonderful to meet every dietary need. Today we decided to pop in for an afternoon snack and a glass of wine. The sushi (Sunset Roll) was fresh and flavorful. The wet ribs are covered in unique Asian spices; they never disappoint. Highly recommend reservations.
