Very enjoyable evening. Quick service. Nick was helpful. We really enjoyed being outside as it was quieter than inside. Inside tends to be a little loud with the music. Food was great as it usually is. We miss having Monet as our server though. Is she around?

Sushi pieces were much smaller than a standard size of 3-4 inches long by 1/4 inch thick. They were about 1 3/4 inches long and 1/8 inch thick. Also the quality of the rice and sushi itself was very average , like what you would expect at any local sushi bar' certainly not a highly touted one. They should simply raise the prices and provide higher quality sushi and offer pieces that fall into a normal size range. Service was good.

I really enjoy Sushi Roku. I don't come here often—usually just for a date night with my husband or, like today, a lunch to catch up with a girlfriend. Every visit, the customer service is top-notch and the food is always amazing.

The food was wow. I mean everything we had from apps to rolls and drinks was so good. Great service. Only issue was the seats we had was close the the sushi bar and people were drunk and loud. Between the loud guys and the music it was too noisy. At one point he gets up to hit on some girls and his behind was shaking at our table. Too close. Request a table away from the bar. Not sure if was just this night all all nights.

An Exceptional Dining Experience! Our recent visit was truly outstanding, largely thanks to Genesis, our server. We'll be sure to request her on our next visit. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, a lovely start to the evening. Every dish, from the appetizers to the sushi and sashimi, was incredibly fresh and delicious. The atmosphere, vibe, service, and food were all excellent. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning!
Sushi Roku is a solid choice for a casual lunch or an easygoing date night. The ambiance is stylish yet relaxed, the food is consistently good, and the drinks hold their own. While there's nothing particularly groundbreaking or unique to fully justify the premium prices(except the rent they owe at fashion island lol!), the overall experience is pleasant. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy a decent meal, and not leave disappointed - just maybe not wowed either.

Had a great dining experience at Sushi Roku. The fluke kumquat appetizer was fresh and unique—perfectly balanced flavors. The White Lotus roll was a standout: beautifully presented and delicious. Cocktails were creative and well-made, adding a nice touch to the meal. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and ambiance make it worth it for a special night out. Pet-friendly for patio seats.
