They have a policy that for parties over 6 they only allow one card, and do not allow sharing. Seems very out of character for a restaurant that pretends to value customer service.

I had such a great experience here! The sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious, the ambiance is relaxing and modern, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my favorite spots for sushi!
The two vegan sushi options are amazing! Definitely recommend. We went during lunch so the place was quiet and service was attentive. Would definitely return in the future!
I'm a returning customer and have been going to Ten since their previous location in Newport. Disappointed that the server had to tell us that we should basically be done soon because another reservation was coming. We hadn't even been at the table for 1hr 10 min. Also, it would be nice if the staff could remind their diners about parking validation. I had to pay $22.00 leaving the parking structure and the first three hours are free with restaurant validation.
Ten Sushi is seriously one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always amazing. One of my favorite is the forbidden roll, it's a must have! The rolls are super fresh and full of flavor. The servers are always so friendly. We always have such a great experience here and can't wait to come back again soon!
Big Poppa and his homie rocked the sushi. My favorite sushi place in the country! Every time I come to the area Big Poppa hits it here. Not just because the food is fantastic. It's about the moment you walk up to the hostesses. They are absolutely fantastic! The service from our server is impeccable and all the other staff members treat you like you are their customer. Big Poppa and his homie shall return.
The hostess station needs serious training. We had a reservation at 8:30, but arrived early at 8:00. There were only two of us, and the hostess quickly checked us in. And then the wait started. We stood outside a few steps away from the hostess station, and watched other walk-in customers get seated in the empty tables that we could see through the open walls. When I asked the hostess if we had to wait until 8:30, she replied, "we can't move the restaurant around for you". Wow. I understand that "technically", our reservation is at 8:30, but it's for 2 people and we already showed up. There were empty tables and others were being seated. This inflexibility reflects a lack of training and low sense of customer service. The first time we came, it was during regular dinner time. We didn't have a reservation. When we came to the hostess table, we saw about 10 employees gathered at the front entrance doing some kind of meeting/pep rally. No one bothered to man the hostess station and ignored all guests that were lining up. But that time, at least we weren't being singled out. What a strange practice.
Sashimi was disappointingly small, but the rolls were unique and worth it. Service was great.

Awful Service, Decent Sushi. The sushi is alright, but not for what they are charging. The only reason I go to this place is because they are walking distance of my gym. Every time I go there they have awful service and recently a waiter threw away my headphones when cleaning up the table. I ask for them to look for them and they never came back. I had to chase them down before they tried to gaslight me and say I never brought headphones, when I was using them at the beginning of dinner. It’s an 7/10 sushi place but the service is what brings the place down. Also the bartender tried to give me crypto knowledge *eyeroll*

I had a really unfortunate experience at Tan’s Sushi today, and I want to explain exactly what happened. I reserved a table for three people because my friends and I were celebrating something special. When we arrived, about ten minutes in, one of my friends called to let us know she was stuck in heavy traffic coming from Los Angeles due to an accident. She lives in Orange County and was doing her best to join us, but there was a chance she might not make it.
Despite that, a staff member came over and told us we had to move to another table without even asking us if it was okay. I explained that we were waiting for our friend and that she might come if she could, but the staff member had an attitude and didn’t really respect our situation.
We went ahead and ordered. Now, the food at Ten Sushi is always great, and I have no complaints about the quality. But this time, the server brought out the wrong sushi. When I mentioned it, she insisted I had ordered that item, even though as a regular customer, I know what I usually order. I said I’d keep the dish anyway and just asked them to bring what I originally requested. But the server’s attitude didn’t improve—she continued to be dismissive.
After we had been there for about an hour and 45 minutes, we asked for the check. The host came over and again, with that same attitude, acted like she was being polite but made it clear they wanted us to leave because someone else was waiting for the table. She even stamped my parking ticket with an attitude and didn’t say goodbye.
This is not how a restaurant should treat customers, especially when we’re here to relax and enjoy a meal. I’m embarrassed in front of my friend because I had talked up the service and quality here. I hope the owner or manager takes this as a sign to focus on better customer service rather than just turning tables for profit. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. As a Google reviewer, I won’t be coming back after tonight, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and respectful dining experience.

10/10 Staff was very friendly and made great recommendations. Food was very good I was very impressed! On the reservation I mentioned it was our anniversary and there was a happy anniversary frame at our table along with with staff congratulating us which was very sweet. For a Wednesday night it wasn't very busy and food came out very quick and we can't wait to go back with friends
Kelly S our server was wonderful, attentive and the sushi was delicious as usual. This is my go to place for sushi
