Love this place !!! Best place in Newport period

This restaurant is closed. It has been put up for sale. My family showed up after making a reservation through OpenTable and the place was completely boarded up. I had eight elderly relative standing on the street at 7pm on a Saturday. Luckily we were able to get everyone into the bar next-door for fish and chips. I try to alert OpenTable to this, and no one has gotten back to me other than to send me a request for a review.

Good customer service, nice views, good bloody Marys but the shrimp cocktails do leave something to be desired.

We had a wonderful time! The service was topnotch and Tony made it an even more memorable experience. We had a large group of 11 and they made sure to get every order right. We appreciate their hard work.

Service was wonderful. Our waitress did a phenomenal job. They do not know how to cook a steak properly. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came to me raw. They took it back so that I could get a new one. They used the same one they had given me and just cooked it more, which I don't mind but that's cross contamination. When it came back it was more of a medium/ almost well done. Their chicken alfredo was ok but not as good as most places I go. My mom had a scallop risotto (I believe that is what it's called) and couldn't eat it. Scallops were bland and risotto inedible. Their fries were really good though.

This place has the best location and has live music on the weekends. Food is prices very fair. Don’t rely on the negative reviews This place serves hundreds of happy customers daily and unfortunately good news doesn’t travel fast !

Parking: Parking is 10 dollars. But everywhere by the beach charges for parking

Do not go here. Not only do you have to pay for parking??? But you wait over an hour for eggs and toast.. multiple orders came out wrong, place is beat up and gross. This place is not it.

Easter Day. Service was horrible. Waitress didn't know the menu. She never came by. We had to look for her or order at the bar . Food was very bland. Cheap champagne. Had Fettuccine Alfredo and Vodka pasta and a bottle of cheap champagne and it was $100.

3/26/2023I genuinely feel bad for the employees working here who are straight set up for failure - "low staff" on for Sunday brunch (2 male employees and was told only 1 cook on) is unacceptable for a "bar restaurant lounge" in the heart of Newport Beach- we had also called ahead days early to make this birthday brunch reservation for a party of 10Upon arrival (11:15 am - they open at 11:00 am) our table was not set up and we were told they could accommodate us by moving some tables around (like they weren't prepared for us?)- we were then given regular dinner menus and when we asked for brunch menus for our table, we were told there is only 1 paper brunch menu for all of us to share..........We then sat and waited quite some time for waters/ plates/ and even napkins and utensils. We ordered some appetizers which came out in a timely manner but while we waited for our main dishes, it seemed the servers tending to us where no where to be found and one of our party members had to continuously get up to ask for refills of mimosas as the servers where doing god knows what behind the bar.Our entrees for all of us (10 people) took give or take an hour and a half (bless the ONE cook for trying his best)I personally ordered a "flatbread" and Philly cheese steak - food came out cold and my Philly cheese steak's bread was legit a hot dog bun ....We watched the manger arrive at 1 pm and speak with the staff before he came to ask us how things were. I was candid about our experience and how I feel things could be better here - he apologized and offered us a discount and had a word with the head of our table.Unless you are wanting a quick drink or to look at the harbor with no expectations - would not recommend coming here for food or a birthday celebration.

If I could give them a negative star I would. We made reservations for 10 for brunch on Sunday. To start our table was not ready and we were the first customers for the day. After watching them prepare our table it took forever for them to serve water or take drink orders. They only had 1 brunch menu. After 2 hours they brought out 4 of 10 meals. We told family to eat while we waited for the rest of the food. This was the worst service I have ever experienced.

Hot garbage on toast...and that is not even what I ordered. Reservations was messed up, food took 2 hours for 10 people and was cold or just nasty when it arived...who uses hotdogs buns for a Philly cheese steak?Shir was expensive...even with the 50% discount we gor from the manager who arrived hour 3 it was still 250 bucks for cold gross food.Servers were ok, they did their best for what they had to deal with and manager was reasonably understandable but would not recommend unless you just want to stare at the bay and drink.

It was ok. Place needs a fresh coat of paint and some updates. Overall the price we paid for dinner wasn’t bad considering the location but this place wasn’t what I was expecting considering the area/views

First time coming here. The valet was not around so we didn't realized he was even there so we parked our own car which we didn't mind at first. The valet was apparently cold so he was sitting in his car. We went inside and as I walked in I started noticing things weren't in the best condition. The place could use some fresh paint and a little face lift to bring it up to par to the location. The menu was different that what they had online which was a little surprising. They were having a Valentine's Day special which we ended up going with. Our server was quite nice but maybe new. They had a band playing which was enjoyable and the views were nice from the little booths by the window. The booths and the tables are a little weird height wise to eat food. We ended up having a good dinner, just nothing that was special enough to come back for. As we start walking out the valet is no where to be found and he comes back from his car. He brings the car out and we are getting in and tipped him and were getting ready to take off. He lastly adds that there is a fee for the valet of $10. A little weird that he didn't mention this as we first got there and there was no sign anywhere saying this. We paid and just left. All in all, the views are nice the place and food is just average.
