I live on Catalina Island and every time I make it over to the mainland The Pizza Bakery is a must. They have the best gluten free pizza in SoCal. The owner is a master of his craft and super down to earth. The pizzas are literally as good as they look. Considering I have celiacs I appreciate that they always grab a new pizza cutter to ensure there is no cross contamination. 10/10 you won’t regret going here.
HUGE great-tasting pizzas at reasonable prices. Got free yummy brownies as a gift for being a new customer. LOVED!

My fav neighborhood pizza place!!
My Monday Go-To! You gotta try their Monday Night Special, comes with a slice of pizza (Costco size, huge!), a tomato/meat sauce based spaghetti, 8 garlic knots and a plate of salad for only $11.99!
The crust was the downside for me. Almost more like a pita. The sauce, cheese, sausage were good.
Really good classic by the slice. Great staff and service.

Very good pizza! Nice staff very friendly and accommodating. My son has a peanut allergy and they made sure to be careful.

These guys much like myself love pizza. As a self dubbed pizza snob. There are few places that sell “good pizza” in California. The pizza bakery is 1 of 3 pizzerias I’ve tried in California that makes “great pizza”! If you’re in town or just live nearby you’re lucky. Ed & his crew not only make pizza that impresses me but the crew is personable & from time to time have given out some really good free garlic knotts (the soft kind, make sure to ask for sauce to dip em in).
The pizza has a lotta heart to it that I can only say makes it special. It’s the kind of pizza that I imagine the Kristy Krab pizza to taste like, & it’s definitely the pizza for you and me.
If you’re thinking about stopping in for a slice stop thinking go get one. Hope you enjoy their pizza as much as I have.
Parking: Valet is about half a block of walking away. I never use it cause I feel lucky to get a parking spot. Parking is often labeled for all the various businesses around so if you find one I’d say it’s about as common as winning $2 on a lottery ticket. Usually you’ll find a parking space. Except for at the busiest moments of the day usually around 12:30-1:00 can be hard.

The place is small but quite comfortable. The people were very friendly and the prices were very affordable. Very generous size and good flavor, they gave us rolls while our pizza arrived.

Food is a bit below average and soggy garlic knots which is the worst. But very friendly staff

Stopped in for lunch. Seems like a nice place. Quiet, clean and the staff are friendly. Tried the pizza and pasta, and both were great! The price is about $10 a plate for lunch. Definitely going to stop by again.
