I live on Catalina Island and every time I make it over to the mainland The Pizza Bakery is a must. They have the best gluten free pizza in SoCal. The owner is a master of his craft and super down to earth. The pizzas are literally as good as they look. Considering I have celiacs I appreciate that they always grab a new pizza cutter to ensure there is no cross contamination. 10/10 you won’t regret going here.
My Monday Go-To! You gotta try their Monday Night Special, comes with a slice of pizza (Costco size, huge!), a tomato/meat sauce based spaghetti, 8 garlic knots and a plate of salad for only $11.99!
These guys much like myself love pizza. As a self dubbed pizza snob. There are few places that sell “good pizza” in California. The pizza bakery is 1 of 3 pizzerias I’ve tried in California that makes “great pizza”! If you’re in town or just live nearby you’re lucky.
