Last night my family and I went to this place in the evening. We were in Líne First. Then another 2 ppl got in line in back of us .The male cashier there saw we were there. He never welcomed us or said a word but to the other ladies that walked in he did. even the lady asked him. Weren't they in line First. And he said its ok. how can I help you. I felt discriminated because we where Hispanic. So my family and I just walked out. It was very humiliating and sad that he didn't even bother to greet us and skip us like if we weren't humans too. I will never ever go back to this place

Service was great no complaints with the young gentleman helping us. We got the almond caramel apple, oreo bark (i think thats what it's called) and the toffee. They tasted old. Toffee, almonds and even the oreo was stale. Oreo bark didnt even taste like oreo. Such a disappointing place that's pretty expensive as well.

These are the best Balboa Bars on the island. They use premium chocolate that’s a mix of milk and dark chocolate, and they have premium ice cream. The result is that these are a lot better than the Balboa bars at Dad’s Original and the Original Frozen Banana Stand. We have tried those other places many times and they’re also very good. But if you’re ready to graduate, walk a few steps down to Too Sweet - you won’t regret it.

I’ve had Dad’s before and Too Sweet was better. The chocolate is made in-house and is very high quality. I got the cheesecake on a stick with Oreo and Toffee and my wife got a chocolate Balboa Bar – both were very good. Highly recommend this joint

This is the BEST balboa bar!!! Their chocolate is REAL chocolate!!!! Don't get fooled by the dad or the original balboa bar next to them! Their chocolate is thin and taste like plasticie. You need to buy one and compare it yourself. This place is the bomb!

This little shop is so cute, they have frozen yogurt with topping of your choice, candy apples, and chocolate galore. The chocolate is so good. I definitly reconmend. Parking is a little difficult because of all the people and you have to park on street but trust me it is worth it. Prices are great.

We had spent the day at the beach for our grandson's 5th birthday and then after a nice dinner at a nearby Thai restaurant we headed to Balboa Island to walk off some calories. We found a place to park (amazing, I know...) and walked around admiring the scenery and enjoying the cool evening. Then we got Balboa Bars for the entire group. Too Sweet was less busy than the other store down the street (advertising as the inventors of the frozen banana) so we stopped here. Select between a frozen banana or vanilla or chocolate ice cream is easy compared to the huge variety of goodies your treat is dipped in once the chocolate coating is applied. Absolutely delicious, and the single woman doing all this magic was wonderfully accomodating and polite.

Too Sweet has the best frozen bananas and Balboa bars on the island! Their chocolate is amazing and their frozen yogurt is delicious. Their high quality ingredients make a big difference! Be sure to stop by the next time you are on the island!
