Hard the believe that wholesome tasty Mexican food can still be found at a good value. I visited wahoo after probably more than a year and got their spicy chicken burrito and boy was it delish, huuuuge and only $10.99. Really enjoyed eating inside as it was packed with people and fun to watch people walk around fashion island. Margaritas run for $9.50!

Delicious food. Very fresh and great selection of drinks. The prices are very reasonable and portions are good. I ordered the chicken tortillas soup, fish bowel and 2 steak taco. Very clean restaurant and fast service.

Great taste, found their spicy sauces a bit underwhelming (in their heat), but still delicious

food took 45+ minutes to come in, the server said they gave our order to a different table, which I'm not sure how it happened.

The guy working at lunch on Saturdays at the register is clearly upset to be there. Very rude. The crispy fish taco was so fishy we couldn’t eat it. The tortilla soup looked good but it was a salt water broth (clear) with almost no flavor at all. Best part of the meal was the tortilla chips. Avoid this place; it’s terrible.?

The original style fish tacos were great however, the tortillas had cheese melted on them. I didn't expect it and freaked out a little because I don't eat dairy products. I know most people enjoy eating LOTS of cheese, but I wish restaurants wouldn't put it in nearly EVERYTHING!I enjoyed sitting outside near the"waterfall" fountain.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

Staff was welcoming, and the service was great. Ordered the fish tacos with beans and rice. Food came out quick, and it was tasty.

3.5/5 but I'll round up to a 4Ordered a Spicy Fish Sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was good, but nothing special. Fish was fried til crispy and the sandwich was actually spicy. I liked the slaw on it and the sandwich had good texture. The fries were basically unseasoned and not very good. Although even bad fries are good fries because they're fried haha The salsas are pretty good though! Overall, an okay experience! Workers were nice and friendly!

Wasn't super busy but they didn't have enough help. After 20 mins I finally went to the pick up counter and had to wait another 5 minutes for somebody to help me. Food was piling up from the cooks but nobody was there to deliver it.When somebody finally came up I asked and she said oh yeah it's been sitting here for some time. She also gave me some chips for the trouble which was a nice offer. She profusely apologized and said that the others that are supposed to be helping are messing around somewhere else. When I was nearly done eating I suddenly saw all this additional help that she was talking about and she was right. She was on her own.

Food is horrible. I would rather eat at Rubio's. At least you would get real fish and not a fish stick in tortilla. First and last time at Wahoo's .

So good! The ceviche is the best secret. Kids loved the burritos. Ordered online and everything was ready and packed up when we arrived. Thank you for being consistently good.

Hope the Irvine company doesn't kick them out like all the other food places.

We loved this place. Great food. Really clean. Right by the beach.
