Took my wife here for her birthday dinner for the first time. Found it on yelp and actually had no idea it was part of the Balboa Bay resort while making the reservations. Took a little bit to find once we parked but it was a nice little adventure. There were maybe 2-3 other groups of people while we were there but I guess this place is better known for its brunch. My wife's salmon was slightly undercooked but my dish was fine. No complaints but also not necessarily a memorable experience either.

Avacado fries is our fav! Open face fried egg sandwich with duck bacon was surprisingly delicious. On a sunny day outdoor seating is the best. A bit pricey because of location. Personally we think it's a nice place to hand out for brunch with friends during the weekend. Self parking is a ways away. Use valet service. Restaurant will validate parking.

Great Sunday brunch for about 60/person. Great outdoor seating with a fab view of the marina. Friendly staff and yummy food. Chilled bar with oysters, crab and ceviche. Hot entree also included. Free champs or mimosas too. Can't beat this place. Will make this a regular stop in Newport.

This is one of the best hotels in the area and this restaurant does it proper justice. We had breakfast outside on a beautiful morning. Dad got chicken and waffles - the waffles had a distinct, delicious, but not overpowering jalapeño flavor. Our little one got blueberry pancakes. I got the garden omelette with citrus yogurt. Everything was fresh and fulfilling. Even if you're not staying here, stop by and enjoy the beautiful ambience by the boats with a nice meal.

What a beautiful restaurant inside and out . This review is for lunch and we sat outside with gorgeous harbor vIews . We started with the shrimp rolls with Avocado delicious! Our main course Was the lobster salad stuffed in half a avocado with a side salad . The jalapeño dressing was superb everything was so delicious and the service was outstanding!! We were celebrating my friends birthday and they brought out a delicious dessert complimentary and our waiter even helped sing happy birthday! So sorry I forgot his name.

Our sever Victoria was AMAZING!!!! So sweet, wonderful, and accommodating!! She even move us from our nice indoor table to a magnificent outdoor table with a beautiful view of the marina! The food was top notch as well! Oyster were large and fresh and even the Sunday brunch champagne was not your ordinary fare. All in all, a VERY enjoyable Brunch and we'll worth the price! Hate writing a bad review, really wanted to like this place but feel like I have an obligation to let others know. Went to dinner last night and the food was SOOOOO salty none of us could finish it. I'm surprised a high end place like this doesn't have a chef who knows his hand with seasoning. I am cook (not a chef) and know it's a cardinal sin to oversalt. So, if you want to leave super thirsty or are on a get bloated diet this is your spot. Otherwise, I'd avoid it.
