Love the vibe. The service can be a challenge when there is only 1 chef and 1 server for the weekday lunch shift. Patio tables and the seats full of sand and food crumbs. My fajita turned out to be a cancer risk lunch plate. It is pet friendly at the patio section which is nice as i am a local and eat out around Newport with my pup. Hope it gets better as my dog loves it here since he was young.

The tacos were pretty good. Al pastor and tri tip were quite delicious. The beans on the side of the combo were bland, but the Mexican rice was good. Feel free to skip chips and guac: the salsa and guac were mid, and the chips were tough.

Do not expect a full meal. The owners should be ashamed at the portion sizes they are serving their community. Especially at more than $20 for 3 tacos.
Ordered catering. True proportions and good pricing for large groups. Very good food and they carried it to my car for me. Had it all in one box ready to go. Very satisfied. It was hard keeping it warm, but that is on me :)

Not overly expensive AND great food, the staff was incredibly friendly, had parking options, and the food came out relatively quick for our party having 7 people! Definitely reccomend!

First time in Newport Beach, looking for a taco place for dinner. Wild Taco did NOT disappoint!!! The atmosphere, food, and house margarita…*chef’s kiss* Would absolutely come back!! Delicious
Really nice restaurant offering indoor/outdoor dining. We had a very enjoyable lunch. Staff was great and food was delicious 😋.
Amazing food, it was lovely and fresh with perfect sized portions. Drew was an excellent server, he had great recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. We arrived close to closing but never felt any pressure from the staff to hurry etc. 10/10
I had been to the location in Laguna Beach, and had loved it. So, came here this time to try it out again.
Small spot with seats at the bar and few tables. The menu has different options but fairly easy to understand.
I got the taco combo and tried the carne asada, tri tip and pollo asado. I made some modifications so some extra ingredients were removed but it’s okay.
The burrito was apparently really good.
All tacos were all good. I was confused by what was the big difference between tri tip and carne asada.
The counter was a bit sticky. The service was great.
Overall, it’s a great spot. The food is good for an okay price.

I had higher expectations for this place. Nachos were sub par. Chips were very hard, cheese was light and as a whole, chicken was very dry. Maybe next time I'll get something else from here. Friendly waitress.
Great tacos. Super service.
The Al pastor tacos were delicious! I wasn’t crazy about the ceviche, but my wife really liked it!
Ya so if the happy hour mentions tacos at least tell us they are the size of a quarter dollar if you see that's all I'm getting as a woman. I don't even know where they found such tiny 2 bite tortillas.
I would've ordered something normal sized if i knew after that i was just over it and didn't want to wait any longer to order more.
On top of that the meat was tough
Feels very Cabo authentic and food is very, very good. Could use a spruce up indoors but outdoor space is thriving on warm days. Parking was easy on a winter Sunday. Not sure what it's like when the Peninsula is hopping! Definitely going back.
